El lugar fue muy bonito y tranquilo. En la noche hubo 30 min de fogata y hay varios lugares para sentarse y admirar la vista. Lo que nos llamó la atención desde un principio fue la decoración de navidad. Lo único que nos pareció muy poco fue el desayuno, había muy poco huevo y lo acompañaron con salchichas, esperábamos un poco de gallo pinto para rellenar. Lo bueno es que había café y jugo y croissants

Wir haben uns in der wunderschönen Holzhütte am Hang des Irazu sehr wohl gefühlt . Nachts wurde es sehr kalt , aber die bereitgestellten Decken reichten aus . Morgens war es dann schnell warm , nachdem die Sonne aufgegangen ist . Der Blick ins Tal ist wunderschön , besonders der Sonnenuntergang über den Wolken .

Great spot near the volcano and sanatorium, parking available next to cabins (easy to pack up), great view, shower was nice and hot, gets very cold here at night though so will need to bring warm clothes and have the heater on high before you go to bed

the house we stayed in was super spacious, had a small heater, WiFi, a tv, bathrobes, hot water, a private parking spot and the best view over the valley and it's cities. from there we went to the vulcano irazu which is just a 20-30 minutes drive away. the team was very welcoming and even made it possible that we had breakfast much earlier then they usually serve it. :) unfortunately, the breakfast (buffet style) was served on plastic plates and with plastic cutlery but i guess this might be due to the COVID situation.
