My first impression was"wow", it had exceeded my expectations, and when does that ever happen, never, especially if you have high standards like me. We were an extended family of 10, everyone had plenty of space including bathrooms. It was very tastefully appointed. When you stepped out the front door you were greeted by a good size swimming pool which also had toys for all ages, outside the gate was a small outdoor bar, which was perfect, across the dirt road was the beach, then the ocean where you were guaranteed a beautiful sunset every night. You couldn't ask for anything more Just remember that where you stay is part of your vacation experience, why not make it the best. We had an awesome time.

This place was amazing super clean convenient. The Host Tia went above and beyond every day to make sure we were comfortable and having a good time. You’re right on the beach with the grass area in front at the nicest part of beach in Hako fully equipped with coffee maker and all the amenities that you can think of towels everything the pool was clean and beautiful and right on the beach. It was like a dream every day waking up to this. I would recommend anyone.

The house was huge, spacious, and clean. Has all the amenities that is needed for a comfortable stay. Best part was the restaurant, literally next door. We would wake up and order our food while sipping our coffee, staring at the amazing beach view!! Personally I rode the entire beach on horseback, and realized that the best beach was right in front of our air BNB. If you like boogie boarding trust me it's the best right in front of the house you will get to ride a wave literally once it breaks all the way in to shore. We had security 24/7 which made our stay so much more comfortable. Our host Tia, was so nice and hospitable. Got us anything we needed, whenever we needed it from beer deliveries, taxis, and even reservations at restaurants that were supposed to be closed haha. The best!!!

We had a terrific vacation in Casa Rio Mar. The house is beautiful! With 19 people, multiple patios/verandas allowed for personal time & plenty of space to gather with each other (and the iguanas and parrots). The location is fantastic - right on the beach and a quick golf cart ride to the center of Jaco. Our concierge, Tia, was amazing!! She was VERY responsive and helpful. From addressing concerns and restaurant recommendations to arranging excursions and transportation, she was always on top of it! The area feels safe, but having 24 hr security was a bonus. Ronnie and team kept watch, ensured the pool and grounds were clean every day, helped with maintenance, and kept unwanted street vendors moving along. While we had a few maintenance issues, they were addressed. The dishwasher was broken but after a couple attempts to fix it, it was replaced. Early morning construction noise next door was annoying, but overall, the good exceeded any challenges. We would visit again.

Fantastic location and wonderful staff - great for big families who want to stay right on the beach and have lots to do. We were a family group of 16 spanning 3 generations, and everyone loved it. There was plenty of space for us all to spread out and then come together for meals and activities. The concierges, Tia and Matt, were incredibly responsive and helped us arrange personal chefs, surfing, fishing charters, ATV rides, zip-lining and more. If there was any little issue with the house, Tia responded right away. 90 minutes from San Jose airport.
