This house is great IF you value appearances and cool instagran photos more than you value your comfort and privacy. Way too many unexpected problems to describe in full length due to 1000 character limitation. - No AC anywhere, no fans (except in two bedrooms, which don't have blackout curtains). Owner didn't bother to include a $20 fan for bedrooms and dining room. Good luck sleeping in the heat or having dinner with lots of bugs if you dare to open the windows to minimise the heat. No blinders to block the sun in the dining room makes the area unusable for hours on a sunny day. Security cameras ON inside the house (owner denies, but leds were on). Suspicious "secret" compartment near bedroom locks from inside (whoever looked it, got out from a secret exit/entrance that leads straight to one of the bedrooms). CREEPY! Not worth it for this price. Stay away, unless you value appearances more than privacy and comfort. Overly positive reviews may have come from review farms.

Beautiful, well maintained property located in a beautiful setting. Host Guillermo and Maria Eugenia were very helpful. This is very tranquil setting. Views are amazing.

Spectacular views, spacious kitchen where the whole family can interact while cooking. Bathrooms where spotless. Loved our stay and would stay again.

I’m a repeat guest at Guillermo and María Eugenia listing and I love their unique gardens and amazingly decorated listings. It was a perfect site for our girls escape- safe- great views well equipped kitchen and nicely decorated bedrooms. Their directions and detailed information leaves nothing to question. The outdoor space is very inviting and the best place to watch the sunrise while enjoying the local superior coffee. I highly recommend it and hope to be back soon

Guillermo y Maria Eugenia were excellent hosts! They were very attentive and quick to communicate regarding any questions we had. The house was great and we enjoyed our vacation.

What a magical place! 15 minute drive into the town of Boquete but there no better view of Volcan Baru. The house is stunning and modern - photos don’t do it justice. Very spacious and immaculate. Host are so gracious and quick to respond. Would have loved to spend more than 4 nights and hope to return in the future.

We had a great stay at Casa Maru! The view of Volcan Baru was spectacular. We saw full rainbows on 2 separate days, and a double full rainbow another day. Casa Maru was very clean and felt bigger than what it looked like from the pictures. Guillermo was very good at responding to any questions we had, whether it is was about the house, or Boquete. The kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, glasses, utensils, etc...everything you need. My wife and I felt very safe and secure. We were there during the Boquete Flower and Coffee Festival. We enjoyed sleeping with the windows open, and although the house is high above the town of Boquete, we could hear the music from the festival very clearly, into the early morning hours. Boquete is about a 10 minute drive from the house. Guillermo gave a us suggestions on hiking, biking and restaurants. Overall, a wonderful trip. I would definitely go back and recommend.
