Amazing place, just like you see in the photos, or probably even better. The beach in front of the house is clean, and scenic. No crowds whatsoever, so you can have the entire beach practically to yourself. The best part of the house though, is the caretakers Daniel and Gloriana. They are available 24/7 for anything you need. They will go out of the way to help you with everything. Daniel even recommended things to do in the area, helped us when the electricity was out due to a storm, let us borrow stuff from his place, since stores were closed to the storm. Without Daniel and Gloriana, this trip would have been an issue, since there was a major storm that knocked out trees and electricity. Would give a 7* rating just for the two caretakers, if I could!

We had a wonderful time at Mike’s place. The house is beachfront. Although the house is not in a gated community, we never felt unsafe. There is a guard that patrols the area at night. The house has all the amenities we needed for our party of 14. Gloriana and Daniel welcomed us to the house and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Their hospitality and kindness made the stay a memorable one. I

Mikes place is as presented. We had some issues that the onsite staff responded to immediately. The house is a great size and layout for two families. The location alone justifies another vacation there. I don’t want to say too much because I don’t want esterillos to become as popular as jaco.

Muchas gracias por permitirnos quedarnos en el lugar. Daniel y Gloriana excelentes personas y nos apoyaron en todo. La ubicación súper bonita con la playa al frente seguro y tranquilo. Aprovecharía más el área de la piscina invirtiendo en ampliarla piscina y poner más áreas sociales abajo en específico

We had a wonderful stay here with 7 adults and 6 kids. It was a perfect week away thanks to the amazing location right across the street from the beach and the kid-friendly pool. The beds were all super comfortable and the AC was amazing. A note on the bedrooms: the double queen bed is the only one downstairs. In case you're hoping to use that for kids, it may not work. Our only gripes were some small things in the house - nothing that wasn't manageable, but at this luxury price point felt off. A previous review is right: there should be ~30x the number of hooks! Small thing but it meant that we had so many damp towels and bathing suits in weird places. There were also not enough bowls (just 4!) or plates so we were constantly running the dishwasher. Some small malfunctions in other areas (e.g. door handles broken, etc.). None of this ruined our stay of course - it truly is a wonderful spot - but it did add up enough to go against our expectations, so we wanted to set yours.

Wow! We were so happy with our stay! We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Our grandsons had the time of their lives. Daniel and Gloriana were especially attentive and helpful. Mike was a great host.
