Beautiful Cabin in the Woods!

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Beautiful and comfy lake cabin. If you enjoy firsthand contact with nature, we are your to-go place. If you have never seen where our water comes from, this is the place! We can take you to our spring so you can see it in person! Let’s always be careful not to get the spring water source dirty, as this water comes straight from underground rivers, which we don’t want to get dirty! The space The cabin consists of a big bedroom with a king-sized bed, private bathroom, ventilated by big windows and a ceiling fan, and a balcony with a spectacular view of the woods and mountains. The cabin is equipped with a coffee station, fridge, microwave, and day to day house utensils. There are multiple hammocks through the entirety of the property ideal for a break, smores and marshmallows are always a great idea, so a bonfire is also available, or you can use the grill to make some BBQ. The property is also equipped with a beautiful lake, which comes from a spring of pure water so swimming is 100% possible and a beautiful wooden deck handmade where you can spend hours and admire the looks. We are eco-friendly with our environment, we offer recycling, the preservation of the trees that surround us (unless they are damaged and present a falling threat), multiple spaces to plant new trees (we actively plant new trees) and the minimization of electricity, offering multiple solar lights to illuminate the areas. Right next to the property there is a river called “Acapulco”, where you can hike in between trees, monkeys, birds, and iguana's which frequently visit us as well! The hike is short and easy to do, the river water is clear, fresh, and untouched, so swimming friendly! :) Everywhere you go, there will always be the peculiar scent of Nature and Wood! We highly recommend that if hiking is in plans, to always use bug repellent! Beautiful and comfortable lake cabin. If you enjoy the sound and the contact with nature you have to come because you are going to love this place. The cabin is one bedroom, has a private bathroom, very comfortable King bed, fan on the ceiling for hot nights, a spectacular balcony overlooking the trees and mountains, you can find hammocks anywhere for you to rest, a campfire in case you want to roast marshmallows or if you prefer you can use the grill and make a roast. The cabin has a free coffee station, refrigerator, microwave, and basic utensils for your stay. There is a beautiful lake that you can enjoy, which has a wooden deck made with lots of love in which you can spend hours and hours during your stay, the lake water comes from a spring of pure water, so if you want you can bathe and enjoy the water. In almost all CR the water is drinkable and you can drink from the tap. You have not seen where the water we consume on the planet comes from, this is the place for you to live this exciting experience since the hacienda has a spring of water, which can be visited while being careful not to dirty it, it is a treasure for us and that is why we take great care of it so that it is preserved naturally surrounded by trees and vegetation. It is Ecoamigable with the environment, we have recycling, no cutting trees only if they are damaged and they are sown new, there are also solar lights everywhere. Next to the hacienda is the Acapulco river, where you can walk among huge trees, monkeys, birds and iguanas that visit us followed, it is a very short hike that you enjoy, its water is clean without pollutants, you can bathe and enjoy the crystal clear waters. The contact with nature is relaxing and renewing, the smell of wood and that particular smell of mother nature are present in all spaces. It is a very safe place, where they will feel at ease, in addition to the cabin there is a house where the people who take care of the entire hacienda live, any need they will help them. You can find native trees, birds like hummingbirds, toucans, red lapas, hurracas, toucans, butterflies, bugs and insects if you decide to hike to the trees or on the banks of the river (use repellent at all times). Ways to get to the cabin This cabin is located on the way to Monteverde, you can find it on Waze or Maps like Rio Acapulco, Coyolar, Puntarenas, Costa Rica. You will have 25000 m2 or 6 acres to walk or just spend time in any space. It can be reached in any type of vehicle, it is paved street. The bus that travels from San Jose to Monteverde passes twice a day through the front of the property, this is the time: San José a Monteverde at 6.30 am and 2:30pm, the bus stop is 400 meters north of Mercado Central in San Jose, terminal 7/10 second floor. From Monteverde to San José departs at 6:30am and 2:30pm from the local Plaza Monteverde Mall 42 in Santa Elena. The price of the ticket is from and can be bought in advance in TRANSMONTEVERDE There is also the Shuttles and private service line all around CR called Interbus, from Juan Santamaría airport to Monteverde has a cost of $65 in this 2024. If your travel destination is Liberia or Guanacaste you must go thru the entrance to Sardinal de Puntarenas, from which you could take a taxi which could take you to Rio Acapulco where the property is located. We can also offer wine, cheese, and other drinks for an extra cost! Other things to note Really safe space, everyone and everything is always friendly, you will always feel comfortable, also close to the cabin there is a house in which the people that take care of the property live, if anything is needed you can ask them for assistance!
