New boutique Villa-walk to beach-private pool

Casa Salomon is amazing - one of the best places we've stayed in. The house is even better than in pictures - beautiful finishings, design, furniture, it's new and very clean. The layout is perfect for families or two couples because there's privacy and a lot of space with both buildings. The pool is the centerpiece! We swam every day, the water is warm and so clean. We cook a lot and the kitchen had absolutely everything we needed - cookware, beautiful dishes, appliances and even containers so we could bring our snacks to the beach. We can't say enough positive things about our experience at the house, it was perfect for our group of 5, and Tamara was a great host. We highly recommend it!

If you are looking for tranquility and peace near the beach, this is the property to stay at! The extra casita is nice as well so people can have privacy. The pool is warm, clean and mostly in the shade, which makes it nice on super hot days.

Playa Avellenas was everything we had hoped for! We had a bit of trouble finding the house, but would have been so much easier during the day! Tamara immediately responded to us and was able to lead us there with no problem! The house will become your home… We were so sad to leave! Each space offers a perfect amount of privacy. The outdoor space is complete serenity from morning until night! We walked everywhere… It is a little bit of a walk to the water, but we enjoy getting our steps in! We were able to do a bigger grocery shop about 20 minutes away and then walked to the local organic mart multiple times. If you’re looking for a mellow beach town and wanting to feel like you are immersed among locals this is your destination! You absolutely will not be disappointed by choosing Casa Salomon!

This home is perfect for those seeking a respite in the sleepy surf town. It has everything you need and is exactly as pictured. Tamara was a fantastic host and always so quick to respond. Would definitely recommend to those seeking a quiet place to hang in Costa Rica.

Tamara's home is lovely! My family of 6 enjoyed our stay so much, it was hard to leave. Playa Avellana is beautiful and peaceful, and the property itself is private and relaxing. Everything was clean and the house was well stocked. Check in and out was super easy, and Tamara was so kind and always available, offering local recommendations and she even offered to make a food run for us when our flight was delayed so we would arrive at the home with something to eat. We often saw macaws and howler monkeys from the veranda, and the gardens around the house are lush with variety, inviting hummingbirds and butterflies. We definitely recommend staying!

Beautiful home and setting. Feels secluded and surrounded by nature. We saw and heard howler monkeys every morning from the patio, as well as many birds and other wildlife. The home is modern, with great lighting and spaces. Tamara was quick to respond to questions and had good recommendations for the area. Playa Avellana is also gorgeous and uncrowded. It is walkable, but we usually drove due to the heat and dusty roads. There are several very good restaurants in the area. Would recommend for a relaxing stay away from the crowds.

Beautiful home , gorgeous landscape, peaceful, sounds of wildlife, beautiful beach close by. Home equipped with anything you’d need. Our favorite stay so far this trip! Would definitely book again!

An amazing house! Very clean and well equipped with a great host. Tamara proactively had the baby pack n play setup for our daughter - without us even asking! The outdoor spaces were wonderful - we ate all our meals outside. The design of the house is beautiful! And the pool was wonderful as well. A great stay - thank you!

We had the most amazing stay. Tamara gave us super clear instructions before and during our stay. The accomodation was even better than what we expected, based on the pictures advertised. I really can not thing of a negative thing to say. I can 100% recommend this place. Also Tamara was an excellent host, super friendly and answered all our questions super Quick. Thank you, Tamara!

If we could give more than 5 stars we would. Like many, we book based on a variety of factors, but the reviews on this property aren't inflated. It's a magical place. The thoughtful detail into nearly every inch of the property is evident. We have two kids and the space functioned perfectly for us. If you like to cook, this is as good as a chef's set-up as you'll find on a vacation home. The town isn't too touristy---right up our alley, personally; but the local restaurants, the people in town, were all lovely. We didn't have a bad meal. The tiendita/mini-mercado up the drive from the property was nice to have too. Also, if you like barking back at drama-filled howler monkeys, this is the place for you..! ;). I wish Tamara owned every AirBnb we book! Well done.
