The Space
Welcome to Casa Manta Ray, a secluded three-bedroom, three-bathroom oceanfront villa on Nicaragua’s Pacific coast. Set above the surf, the home combines modern architecture with the rugged beauty of the coastline. An infinity pool appears to flow into the ocean, creating a peaceful setting for privacy and unforgettable sunsets.
The villa accommodates up to seven guests and includes:
- Three spacious bedrooms:
- The principal bedroom is located on the main floor and features a queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom.
- The second bedroom is downstairs and has a queen-size bed.
- The third bedroom is downstairs and includes three twin-size beds.
- A downstairs bathroom positioned between the two lower-level bedrooms in a Jack-and-Jill layout.
- Air conditioning and ceiling fans in all bedrooms.
- A gourmet kitchen with a large island and dining table.
- A fully equipped kitchen; prepared meals for your group are also available for an additional charge.
- A large indoor living room with workspace.
- An open-air living area connecting the kitchen, dining area, living room, and bedrooms.
- A spacious outdoor living room with views of the ocean and pool.
- A shaded outdoor lounge and dining terrace, ideal for morning coffee or sunset drinks.
- An infinity pool overlooking the Pacific Ocean and sunbaked landscapes.
- Pool chairs, an outdoor grill, and an outdoor sink.
- An outdoor shower.
- A private stairway leading down to the beach.
- Wi-Fi and workspace suitable for remote stays.
The home’s architecture takes inspiration from the surrounding landscape, while distinctive artwork and décor add character throughout the villa.

Location and Local Information
Several local restaurants, bars, and pulperías are located approximately a five-minute drive from the villa.
The closest large chain grocery stores are Maxi Pali and La Colonia in Jinotepe, approximately 45 minutes away. Guests are encouraged to purchase groceries before arrival.
A four-wheel-drive vehicle is recommended during the rainy season. There are no steep hills, but the roads can become muddy.
Guest Access
Guests have access to the entire property except for the following areas:
- The owner’s closet and laundry room
- The caretakers’ house
- Storage and equipment areas
Important Notes
- The property has a new full solar electric system installed in 2025.
- Dogs live on the property and are friendly with guests. If they become bothersome, please let the host know so the caretakers can keep them away.
- Outdoor security cameras are present.

A Stay that Stole Our Hearts Our four-day stay at Casa Manta Ray was truly unforgettable and exceeded every expectation. Everything was perfect, the comfort, beautiful décor, breathtaking ocean views, spectacular sunsets, and magical star-filled skies. It is easily one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. We came to relax, recharge, and spend quality time as a family, and it gave us all of that and more. Every moment was peaceful and filled with joy. A heartfelt thank you to Carrie for her excellent communication and for always being available to answer our questions. We are also incredibly grateful to Evelyn and Marcos for their kindness and outstanding hospitality. A special thank you to Evelyn for the delicious meals that made our stay even more memorable. Casa Manta Ray will always have a special place in our hearts. We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect beachfront escape.

This is a very beautiful and unique place! We loved the privacy, the open concept and the infinity pool. The place is perfect for a group vacation. we loved that Eveling cooked a delicious meal for us and enjoyed Ivania massages. There is two very cute and friendly dogs on the property.

Nuestra estadía fue excelente. La casa es muy bonita, cómoda y exactamente como se muestra en las fotos. Todo estaba limpio y bien cuidado, además la ubicación fue muy conveniente. Los anfitriones fueron muy atentos y amables durante toda la estancia. Definitivamente volvería a hospedarme!!!

Our stay at Casa Mantas Ray was amazing. The house is unique and beautiful, with direct ocean access and stunning views. Evelin prepared a delicious traditional meal that we truly enjoyed, and Ivania’s massage and pedicure were incredibly relaxing—definitely book both during your stay! It was truly a wonderful experience! We will book again!

Es muy lindo para un fin de semana super relax y refrescarse de los calores ya sea en la playa o en la piscina, o descansar en las hamacas o en los sofas al aire libre, el lugar es súper espacioso por lo que cada quien puede estar descansando o trabajando al aire libre.

Carries home was even better than the pictures. They had everything we needed. The house was so special feeling . The properties caregivers were super friendly and helpful. The dinners they prepared for us were amazing. I honestly wished we had them cook for us every night we were there. I would strongly suggest this stay if you want a very private and peaceful getaway.

Carrie's place exceeded our expectations in every way. The photos don’t do it justice. It’s even more beautiful, welcoming and comfortable in person. Everything was thoughtfully set up and made for such a relaxing, memorable stay. The convenience of the stairs straight down to the beach, the outdoor shower to rinse off after, the pool with comfortable furniture, and the cozy, well-appointed bedrooms were all unmatched and made the stay effortless and enjoyable. The place feels much more spacious in person. One highlight of the trip was Eveling’s daily cooking. Every meal was incredible and something we genuinely looked forward to each day. It added such a special, personal touch to the experience and made the stay feel truly unique. We would come back in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay here.
