Located less than 2 kilometers (a 5-minute drive) from the beach and Tamarindo’s lively restaurant and shopping district, this distinctive home promises memorable moments, including frequent sightings of monkeys swinging in the trees behind the pool.

The property is well-hidden, nestled about 5 meters below the level of the private driveway, which ends at the house on the edge of the jungle. To enter, you descend 15 steps and open the front gate, leading directly into the open-air living room and kitchen.

The fully equipped kitchen includes new stainless steel appliances and can be enclosed with sliding glass doors to provide air conditioning. The master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom is located on this main level, just off the living area.

To access the other two bedrooms on the lower walkout level by the pool, you descend a spiral staircase. Each bedroom is furnished with high-quality bedding, deluxe king-sized mattresses, and custom-built Costa Rican furniture.

A highlight of the home is the spacious west-facing rooftop living area with a pergola. From the parking area, a set of four stairs leads up to the roof. Following the roof around a corner reveals the pergola and, during certain times of the year, partial ocean views.

This property offers a perfect balance of peaceful seclusion just minutes away from Tamarindo’s vibrant atmosphere.

• Water conservation measures may occasionally be in effect, especially during drought periods. The house has large water reservoir tanks to reduce interruptions, but guests should notify the host if water issues seem unusual.
• Grounds and pool maintenance occur twice a week.
• Some mobile network carriers may have limited coverage due to the location. Guests are advised to download check-in instructions and maps in advance.
• The backroads in Tamarindo can be rough; an SUV or vehicle with similar clearance is recommended for easier travel. However, this house is accessible via a newly paved road.
