I’ve stayed at 30+ AirBNBs in several countries and this is the 1st negative review I’ve written. My experience does not match the limited but positive reviews I’ve read. I’ve done my best to be fair and write an accurate description of my experience. Pros: this place is big, easily can house 8+ people comfortably. The pool was amazing. Wi-Fi worked great as well. Cons: inaccurate description of ocean views (our views were entirely obstructed, initial complaints were dismissed, and ultimately a partial refund was provided after it was officially requested through AirBNB, listing has since been updated), the beach is dirty with broken glass and very unsafe at night (you will have to taxi home), the electricity limits were very strict (we only used two rooms and still went over), multiple cockroaches in the home, difficult/dismissive communication, kitchen lacking basic essentials Overall, questionable value considering high cost of this rental.

We had a great stay at la Bahia! Spacious home with nice pool only a few steps from the beach and town of San Juan del Sur. Special mentions to Veronica and Feliciano for always being available for our questions and needs. Be careful with the electricity usage. We had to pay a fee for exceeding the electricity allowance. We would come back anytime!

Great Place! 4 great Bedrooms all with private full bath. The living area worked well. Large well equipped kitchen. The ground were well maintained. Right across the street from the beach access and an easy walk on the beach to town.

A hidden Gem! Very private, We had a great time! Easy to drive to town, or you could take a scenic 10 min walk and walk next to the beach! Laura and staff was very easy to talk to, they were very responsive, from start to finish!

We had a wonderful stay in Laura’s home, the on-site host Veronica was very responsive with setting us up for our stay. We were steps from the beach and a short walk to town. The house was very spacious with a lovely patio, hammocks and pool to use.

Our family really loved our stay in San Juan del Sur. The house is very large and clean with plenty of room to spread out, and privacy for everyone. The hammocks were our favorite spot and we all had to fight over who got them every day! You can hear the waves crashing from the patio and the ocean is steps away. The stay was seamless and we don't have any complaints! The neighborhood felt safe and there is a tiny convenience store about two blocks away where you can grab drinks and snacks if you need them in a pinch.

Nice place, clean and well maintained, looked like the pictures. Pool was smaller then it seemed but overall good experience. Veronica was great and communicated with us to ensure our stay was comfortable.
