The Space
Casa Maeva is a private villa featuring four bedrooms, a swimming pool, a heated jacuzzi, and an exclusive palapa beach club. Situated on a quiet street, the villa offers beautiful ocean views and is just a 10-minute walk from the vibrant 5th Avenue.
Ideally positioned on the beach in Playacar Phase 1, only five minutes from downtown Playa del Carmen, the property boasts spectacular turquoise water vistas. The villa includes a swimming pool and a rooftop heated jacuzzi perfect for enjoying sunset cocktails.
The private palapa located on the beach directly in front of the house is reserved exclusively for guests. It is equipped with a wet bar, shower, BBQ grill, and comfortable seating, providing a relaxing spot to enjoy the beach. The terrace also overlooks the ocean and beach.
The kitchen is spacious and well-designed, featuring brushed aluminum appliances, an espresso machine, dishwasher, and an American-style refrigerator. The open-plan living and dining areas open onto the terrace and pool, offering stunning ocean views.
Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Two bedrooms face the ocean and provide direct access to the pool or jacuzzi. The villa is approximately a 15-minute walk from the famous 5th Avenue and the ferry dock to Cozumel.

Detailed Layout
The main living area combines the living room, dining room, and kitchen in an open floor plan with white walls, abundant natural light, and dark furnishings for contrast. This creates an inviting space ideal for families and social gatherings.
- The living room is fully air-conditioned and furnished with two sofas facing each other, separated by a coffee table.
- Entertainment includes a flat-screen TV with satellite service, an internet modem, and a DVD collection.
- The entire lower level and pool area have WiFi access.
The dining area features a table seating eight, positioned between the living room and kitchen with distant sea views. A breakfast bar peninsula separates the kitchen from the dining space, perfect for casual meals or chatting with the cook.
The kitchen includes a central island, ample counter space, major appliances, and a hot and cold purified water dispenser. Essential accessories such as a microwave, toaster, blender, and coffee maker are provided. Adjacent to the kitchen is a laundry room with a washer and dryer.

Rooftop Jacuzzi Deck
The rooftop deck offers partial beach views and refreshing sea breezes. The custom-made rectangular jacuzzi is elevated for enhanced views, lined with small blue tiles and rounded edges for comfort, and includes a heater.
The deck is furnished with:
- Several chaise lounges for sunbathing
- A table and chairs with a shade umbrella
- A charcoal grill
Pool Patio
The pool patio is a central gathering spot for swimming and enjoying the sea breeze. It includes:
- A glass-top dining table seating eight in the shade
- Chaise lounges for tanning
- An exterior shower for rinsing after the beach
- A second charcoal grill for poolside barbecues
The beach is conveniently located just across the street.
Guest Access
Guests have exclusive use of the private palapa on the beach in front of the villa. This shaded area is ideal for relaxing, dining, enjoying drinks, grilling, and spending quality time by the beach.

We had a wonderful week at Orane’s home. The home was spotless, situated just across the neighborhood street from the beach, and very comfortable for 7 people. I would highly recommend renting this Airbnb. It’s definitely the nieces home we’ve ever rented. The host and consigner, Cecilia, could not have been nicer. Both were very quick to respond to questions. The location is priceless. We felt like we had our own private beach. We felt very safe as the home is in a gated community and security guards circled the neighborhood frequently. We hope to rent this lovely home again some day.

Excellent, well equipped home in great condition. Pool is on the smaller side but direct beach access (including private palapa) is key feature. Hosts Orane and Cecilia are very helpful. One minor caution unrelated to the house - we rented a car from One Car Rental based on a referral from our hosts. It did save a lot of money but the vehicle was effectively a rent-a-wreck. If you do rent through them, make sure you are clear what you are/aren’t getting compared to large rental co’s.

The location of the home was great with private access to the beach. Easy walk to the downtown area shops, restaurants and ferry. It was spacious and had everything that you need to feel at home. Cecilia who manages the property was wonderful. She was very informative and quickly answered any questions we had. She set up our private transfer to and from the airport. We had a wonderful family trip and would go back.

We stayed 5 nights at Casa Maeva and had a beautiful time. The villa is gorgeous and offers lots of space and everything you need. The entire space is clean and well taken care of. Cecilia checked us in and was always responsive when we had a question. We loved everything about the house and are hoping we can come back one day.

Orane and Cecillia created an unforgettable experience for my wife, our friends, and me. From start to finish, their communication was clear and thoughtful, and they went out of their way to make everything easy for us. The location is outstanding with breathtaking views, close to town and resorts, and absolutely beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for more. I highly recommend them.

Oh my goodness Casa Maeva welcomed us to a stunning visit and helped to create memories that will last a lifetime!!
