The home had what we needed including lots of sleeping and dining space. The problem we had was that there was no running water 2 of the 5 mornings we were there. We had to leave dirty dishes in the sink in the morning and wash them when we returned in the evening, and we couldn't take showers those mornings. They had a place to fill a pot with water but that didn't seem hygienic for washing dishes, and it didn't allow for taking showers. We also had to fill the tank of the toilet to flush it those mornings. When there was running water the pressure was very low. The water issues were a major inconvenience for us.

Lugar acogedor. aire acondicionado y ventilador. wifi. televisión por cable o fibra. Acondicionado. Quizás solo recomiendo una barra para personas con discapacidad en servicio sanitario y ducha (aunque no lo solicitamos, lo hubiéramos agradecido bastante). por lo demás, todo estuvo excelente. Volveremos. Gracias y bendiciones

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Una experiencia excelente. La casa estaba impecable, muy limpia y perfectamente ordenada, tal como se muestra en las fotos. Todo funcionaba de maravilla y el espacio es muy cómodo y acogedor. El anfitrión fue muy proactivo, atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar, con una comunicación clara y rápida desde antes de la llegada hasta el final de la estadía. Sin duda, un lugar totalmente recomendable. Volveríamos con gusto.

This is a traditional CR house as listed. It’s just off a busy road and in a residential area with dogs etc, and is safe and clean. It met our needs of finding a place with lots of beds/bedrooms en route from Liberia to Paquera.

Our stay was okay. Rafael was very responsive, and we were able to check in early. Mattresses were comfortable, and the AC’s worked very well. A few things that we didn’t like was that there was no glass on the windows in the kitchen (not sure if that’s common) , cracks in the floor, so we had some bugs crawling around, ants, grasshoppers and a giant cockroach. It was difficult with two young kids to keep the place completely clean and not have ants everywhere. Every little crumb would attract dozens of ants. We did contact Rafael who said that it was common this time of the year, so we just had to deal with it. I think if we received some heads up about it, we probably would not have stayed there. There was also an odd smell in the house too mainly in the living room and bathroom (luckily bedrooms didn’t smell too bad). We couldn’t quite tell what it was, but it smelled like chemicals. We just chose to get out as mush as possible and come back only to sleep for the night.
