San Blas

Had a wonderful experience in San Blas on board with Deici, Jorge and Yamir. Spent 3 days sailing between islands, eating great sea food and just relaxing. Boat (monohull) was very comfortable and was lucky to have it for myself as it was beginning of low season. It is quite expensive but being on a boat allows to sail to many different locations (some more remote than what you would normally access) and also escape bad weather to the extent possible. Deici is a great cook and was being offered beer and wine whenever I wanted. There was paddle boards and snorkel mask on board. Boat was comfortable with electricity from solar panel and wind turbine and also had water for a quick shower if needed. Communication with Philippe was quick and had the tour organized for just 2 days after contacting him. Just a note that they do have a small kid so if this for some reason is disagreable to you, this should be communicated so you go on another boat. But their kid is really great and didnt really bother me as the boat is big enough to have your privacy.

One of the most unique vacation experiences we’ve had. Sort of ruined us because we won’t be able to go on a commercial cruise again- too many things we don’t want and too many people/crowded islands on the itinerary. In contrast we were able to visit an area of the world that is still so unspoiled and untouristed while having good food and accommodations. Be prepared for hot sleeping but not sure what they can do about that in this climate.

Perfect trip in every way! Kind and attentive hosts, comfortable boat, incredibly beautiful remote area, home made delicious food. We felt safe and well taken care of. (Family of 5 including 3 little kids, 2, 4 and 6 year old).

Jean-Philippe connected us with his friend Cristian in San Blas who we had the pleasure of sailing with for three days! Cristian and Sule were amazing hosts with exciting stories to tell and we loved every minute on their boat. The food was top-notch and the entire trip really worth the money. Would absolutely recommend this over staying on the islands!

This trip was one of the most memorable of my life. To say nothing of the beauty of the San Blas Islands, but by the end of my sail with Chris and Marie, I felt like I had found lifelong friends. They do everything to make you feel completely comfortable. They are attentive, generous, kind, and a pleasure to hang out with (if you so choose - they will also offer you plenty of space and privacy to do your own thing and be on your own if you'd prefer). I was completely satisfied with all the food and drink they provided, and the itinerary around the islands took in my specific requests of things I wanted to see/do. I will 100% sail with them again, and you should too!

Il capitano è una persona molto disponibile attento e professionale. Ci ha portato in spiaggette meravigliose, deserte e incontaminate. Questo arcipelago è meraviglioso e grazie a lui lo abbiamo conosciuto. L hostess/cuoca molto attenta e brava, abbiamo mangiato sempre benissimo ed il pesce freschissimo. Mio papà ha avuto problemi con delle medicine che non si era portato in barca e ci hanno aiutato a reperirle in meno di un giorno. Fantastici lo raccomando a tutti e spero prima o poi di tornarci 👍

Philippe connected us with the boat of Deici and Jorge with whom we had an amazing time. They live on the boat with their 6 years old son. The family is absolutely gorgeous. They make sure you have everything you need and an unique experience cruising through San Blas Islands. They are both experienced sailors and know everything very well, so we felt safe and very well taken care of every minute. Deici is a great cook and prepares very good food with fresh seafood. San Blas itself is one of the most stunning places on this planet and experiencing it on the boat is absolutely the best decision you can make. We had such a lovely and unforgettable experience and are very grateful.

Phillipe and his family were not in the area when my husband and I went to San Blas for our honeymoon, but they set us up with their friends Alexia and Sophie; and our trip was absolutely phenomenal! Alexia was great with communication beforehand and handled setting up our taxi services etc. Our time on the boat could not have been better -- since we've been back home, we have been raving about our experience to anyone and everyone that will listen. Every meal Sophie cooked for us was beyond delicious. We are so very happy to have decided to go on this trip. I would recommend this experience to everyone!
