We were two families of four and three respectively. The mirror bedrooms each one with its respective bathroom and shower are perfect for privacy and comfort. Rooms are spacious. The kitchen and the outdoor area were great. We had everything we needed. In the listing, the essentials such as heating, towels and soap seem to be not included, but there were beach towels, towels, hand soap and heating in the bathroom. However, there wasn't a hair dryer in any of the bathrooms. The house looked neat, but it seemed like it wasn't cleaned prior to our stay. The fridge smelled funny and the floor dusty. There are hundreds of mosquitoes and other bugs late in the afternoon. Make sure you pack bugs spray and killing spray since we also saw scorpions and had a huge ant invasion from a nearby tree coming into the house. Something that didn't fit was the "beachfront, beach access" description, it is not walking distance, you have to go by car. You can't see the beach from the House

Fantastic area away from tourist traps! We visited during high season and barely saw anyone - just soft sand and unspoiled coast. The house is a perfect set up for 2 families - well equipped kitchen and each room has its own bathroom w outdoor shower. Kids enjoyed the shallow end of the pool and watching iguanas, bats, deer and birds on the property. Fruit trees on site were a treat. Once the screen doors are fixed it will be perfect; during the day we opened the doors for short periods for air circulation at the cost of getting bug bites (wasps, mosquitos, deer flies, biting ants); we had to close the doors most of the time esp in the evenings since the bugs got too bad but it was much harder to cool down. Fixing the screen doors will make a huge difference in the living room/kitchen. We brought bug spray and stayed cool in the pool. Screens in the bedrooms work and slept well! No cell service and spotty wifi but we enjoyed disconnecting! Andre is very responsive (property manager)

I loved staying at this house, it’s peaceful and great design. I love the area, very quiet and just a few minutes to a gorgeous beach. Hearing the howler monkeys and watching hummingbirds and butterflies was so inspiring. Will go back for sure!! Pura Vida

muy bonito y espacioso, la cocina muy equipada y el baño, solo que no tenía aire acondicionado. el lugar es bastante tranquilo porque está muy alejado.

Playa Coyote is a private and serene location. This property is a short drive from an amazing restaurant “San Miguel” and “Cafe Sante”. The locals are very friendly and the local fauna were even friendlier. After a week here we wanted to stay longer.

Just enjoyed a wonderful stay in this jungle paradise! This peaceful private villa is nestled in the side of the jungle set among beautiful trees and wildlife. Be sure to rent a 4x4 as the last 45 minutes the roads are rough and unpaved. The villa itself is lovely and well set up. Two identical rooms with a queen and two twin beds, each with an ensuite bathroom. Kitchen is immaculate and has everything you need. The pool is a perfect temperature and a good size with gorgeous jungle views. Expect howler monkeys swinging through the foliage around you. We also saw a Coati and plenty of iguanas. You are in the jungle so be prepared for some bugs. The beach, Costa de Oro is less than a five minute drive away and is a gorgeous 6Km stretch of golden sand. On a busy day you might see ten people on the whole thing! Great local restaurants- especially El Barco and San Miguel are a must. Lastly Aldo and Andre are great, always super responsive for any questions. We will be back!
