- Power outages occur occasionally. When the electricity is out, water supply (which is pumped), Wi-Fi, and hot showers (electric) will be unavailable.
- Outages typically last between 10 minutes and 2 hours but may be longer during storms.
Air Conditioning
- Please turn off the air conditioning when you are not in the bungalow to conserve power. Overuse can cause overheating and power interruptions.
Security
- Always lock all doors and windows when leaving.
- If a safe is available, use it to secure valuables.
Cooking and Utilities
- Cooking uses propane tanks since Costa Rica has no gas pipelines. Tanks last a long time but can run out unexpectedly. Spare tanks are provided, and assistance is available for replacements.
- Hot water is powered by electricity, not gas.
Wildlife and Cleanliness
- To avoid ants, store food in the fridge or sealed containers. Leaving food out will attract ants over time.
- The area is home to various insects and animals such as ants, geckos, lizards, spiders, mosquitoes, roaches, mice, bats, snakes, and occasionally scorpions (which are not dangerous).
Toilets
- Do not flush toilet paper as there is no drainage system in town. Use the bin provided next to the toilet.

La casa está en una ubicación inmejorable! Cerca de las playas principales, cerca de supermercados, cafeterías, restaurantes, farmacia. Se puede caminar a la playa Del Carmen. La casa está en un lote muy bello con árboles frutales que brindan sombra y mantienen la casa fresca aún con el clima caliente. Es también una ubicación muy tranquila, silencioso y segura.

Bungalow vraiment super, juste à côté de l océan des commerces et quand même isolé de la route avec la végétation les animaux singes hurleur oiseaux et autres iguanes. Absolument merveilleux !! Parfait pour mon séjour, rien à dire. Validééééé!!!!!😊

Situation et cadre parfaits! La proximité de la route rend le logement un peu bruyant mais si on veut être proche de tout, et éventuellement faire l’économie d’une voiture, il faut bien l’accepter La végétation environnante est splendide et, envers du décor, le logement est assez sombre. Le seul vrai bémol est l’état et la propreté de la salle de bains. Tout le reste est très bien

Wir waren zu dritt und hatten einen perfekten Aufenthalt. Wir waren für 5 Nächte in Santa Teresa und es fiel uns schwer, weiterzuziehen, obwohl wir noch fast 4 Wochen vor uns hatten. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl, es ist alles nötige vorhanden und der Strand ist wenige Minuten entfernt. Die Lage ist ideal, es ist ruhig und perfekt angebunden. Es gibt Gekkos, Leguane und hübsche Vögel im Garten, ebenso wurden wir von einem Opossum und einer Horde Affen besucht. Man schläft hervorragend, vor allem die Nacht in der Hängematte hat mir gefallen. Danke für die schöne Zeit, sehr empfehlenswert!
