Mike and his staff was GREAT! They over and beyond to make sure our stay was great! Mike and his staff had a solution for all for housing, chef, transportation or whatever else we needed. We felt safe and comfortable! Wish we could book another week! We def will plan to stay again and come back to Costa Rica!

The Ac unit went out twice and it was very hot in the house. He had to switch us to another house because of a maintenance issue.

I really loved staying at Mike’s place!! My friends and I had an amazing time lounging in the pool, enjoying the front yard, cutting fresh fruit in the kitchen, and sitting in the beautiful living room! I also really loved the location where we were walking distance from downtown, Jaco Beach, a fresh fruit market, and ~10 minute uber from hiking and the rainforest!! The place gives the option to both relax and explore/be active!

The property is beautiful and private. The backyard stood out to me and my guests, and it’s a great reprieve from the sun after a long day. The pool is so refreshing and the backyard does host many lizards, geckos, and the sounds of wildlife. The backyard is the best feature. We rented the entire property and it was spacious. Distance to Jaco beach and Main Street is perfect. Uber was cheap to travel around and nearby. The concierge was absolutely fantastic and responsive to my inquiries. However, the kitchen is lacking cookware and we found ourselves desiring more of everything. The bathrooms could be improved also. Overall I would stay here again.

This air bnb stay ranks as one of the best for me. Everything was just perfect. A couple of issues came up, and the fix was spontaneous and friendly. Everyone went above and beyond to make our vacation a memorable one

Host nor co-host was responsive. Like almost zero. When they finally responded after I contacted Airbnb, they had no sympathy at all and said “Your trip is a month away” AND?????? I was told about setting up transportation and all kinds of attractions but then they became a ghost when asking for the information. I’m talking a couple weeks of no responses after sending several messages. It was bad from the start….We even wanted to cancel because it was starting off bad. They declined our refund and stood firm on their policy with no sympathy at all to our complaints. So we had to keep the booking or lose half our money. It gets worse….. We get to the house. It smells like something died in there. The most unhealthy smell ever. We had to sit outside on their patio after traveling for the last 15hrs. They sent someone to try and figure out what it was. Didn’t figure it out but started spraying air freshner. :-| We had to go. Airbnb had to help us find another home. Bad start to finish.
