Hikers Adventure Paradise With Panoramic Views.

If you want a rustic cabin that has amazing views of the mountains - this is it. Very bare bones place and that is part of the charm . I stayed a week for a solo meditation retreat and it was great . Not alot of flat areas anywhere outside so plan to be a billy goat to get there and enjoy the view!

Wer in dieser Gegend unterwegs ist, der Ruhe Bedarf und Zeit in und mit der Natur verbringen möchte, dem kann ich diese Unterkunft Wärmsteins empfehlen. Es ist einfach und weitestgehend naturbelassen, was es unheimlich attraktiv macht. Die Aussicht ist spektakulär. Charles und Christian sind sehr freundlich und haben sich um alles erforderliche gekümmert. Ein Allrad ist von Vorteil, aber auch zu Fuß ist alles machbar, wenn du keine Eile hast. Ich komme gern wieder!

This cabin is super beautiful located in the hills with peaceful nature around it. You need to hike a little trail to get there and the cabin itself is super simple and basic. If it is sunny you can open all doors of it and enjoy the beautiful view around.

Charles ist ein sehr zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Die Hütte ist phänomenal gelegen, ich empfehle es wärmstens. Nichts für Leute die Luxus suchen, sondern authentische Abenteuer erleben wollen.

absolutely stunning little place with the view of the mountain. the place has a personal touch being built by Charles and allows for deeper connection with Chirripo mountain. the place is surrounded by the sounds of the river and creeks. magical. will come again

We fell in love with this charming cabin in the mountains! Definitely the highlight of our trip in Costa Rica.

Einfaches, rustikales Haus. Sieht so aus wie auf den Fotos. Von der Strasse aus läuft man ca. 5 Minuten zum Haus. Gutes Wlan. Fantastische Aussicht und ruhig. Charles ist freundlich, hilfsbereit und gut erreichbar. Es lohnt sich mehrere Tage zu bleiben, weil die Region - vor allem für Naturliebhaber - viel zu bieten hat (diverse Wanderungen und Wasserfälle). Kontaktiert diesbezüglich Charlie.

This was our 5th time to Costa Rica, yet to experience anything quite like this stay. We truly were in awe of the surroundings. The drive to location was off the beaten path and visually spectacular. The host was very responsive and we wish we could have spent more time in the area to check out all of his local recommendations. Definitely would stay here again!

What a beautiful slice of mountain paradise Charles’ cabin is. He was a great host, communicating effectively throughout. The place itself is very memorable, a rustic but handsome treehouse with a magical view of the surrounding areas. As another reviewer mentioned, couples may need to sleep separately in the two beds unless they’re comfortable cuddling all night, as the beds are not quite full double size. Also be aware the footpath access from the road is quite steep as you bring your stuff up. But these weren’t problems for us at all - it’s a really special place, would recommend to anyone.
