Villa Mayakita Akua ocean view, jacuzzi & rooftop

Incredibly professional and extremely sweet.

Can't say enough good things about our stay at Mayakita! Everyone -- from Cecilia to Beth and Jimmy -- were so incredibly helpful and kind, making us feel very welcome and accommodating any request we threw their way. The villa itself is beautiful, spacious, and very clean. We loved using the pool, especially in the evenings after long days in the sun. The food at the restaurant is out of this world, and it was so convenient to walk over and grab a meal or coffee when we wanted it. We also loved the location, on the quieter side of the island. And you really cannot beat the absolutely stunning view of the beach from every vantage point in the villa. Book this place!

Our time on the island was magical. The villa was perfect for my large family. My teens always had something to do. They would walk across the street to the beach to collect seashells, lay out to tan, jump in the pool, take a nap on the rooftop, jump in the hot tub, or catch up on Netflix on those rainy days we couldn’t be outside. Jimmi was an amazing help while we weee there and really made our stay too notch. The kids loved that he gathered fresh coconuts for them to enjoy. We loved that he was so helpful during our entire 10 night stay.

We had a great time at Cecilia’s place. The villa, the property and the lay out was perfect. My husband, my 3 children and my parents stayed at the villa, and we had plenty of space for all of us. For most of the week we had the entire place to ourselves and it was perfect. Jimmy was very helpful and attentive throughout our stay. The pictures don’t truly capture how beautiful the place is and how spacious it is. We will definitely come back to this place. It is far from Playa Norte but we rented a golf cart and had no issues getting around the island. Thank you for sharing a little slice of paradise with us.

The stay was amazing! Cecilia and Claudio were very responsive to all of our questions and requests for recommendations. On-site managers Jimmy and Beth were also incredibly helpful! We traveled with 3 kids who were 8 and younger and the villa was perfect. Plenty of space and all the necessities to use the kitchen, pool, beach, roof-top, etc. There are 3 villas total, but the complex is laid out in a way where there is plenty of privacy, including on the roof-top. We ate at Mayakita probably 3 or 4 times while we were there because it was so convenient and delicious (also did take out from there). Getting to the beach across the street was very easy, just walk out front and head across the street. While you can't really swim in the water due to rocks and coral, there was plenty of sand/shells to keep the kids entertained (perfect for a nice walk). I highly recommend staying here, very central to everything and the hosts were amazing. Plenty of room for golf-carts in the back.

I can't say enough about how wonderful a stay this way. First, on the property is the most wonderful and help property manager in the world, Jimmy. Words belittle how amazing Jimmy was. Everything from getting us groceries when we got in late, to showing up randomly with cut coconuts in hand, he was always there and helpful. The place itself is very peaceful, and beautiful. We didn't take advantage of the amazing rooftop as much as we should have, but I look forward to going back again and for longer. The Mayakita restaurant next door was amazing for breakfast, and it's pina coladas were the best I've had. I can't wait to go back with our family.

Excellent location and Villa, we felt right at home. Beth was extremely quick and accommodating to our needs. We would definitely recommend this Villa. Love the high spacious ceiling.
