We spent an incredibly relaxing week with another couple on Little Peter Island. The majority of our time was spent chilling in the “blue hole” off the deck. The snorkeling on the reef right outside was stunning, meals were delicious & the fridge stayed stocked. Evenings were spent by the tiki bar watching gorgeous sunsets & the nightly bonfires on the beach were awesome. Manny & his guys took amazing care of us from start to finish. I would not hesitate to book LPI…you’ll love it!

We just returned from Little Peter Oasis and the experience was just incredible. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. Manny went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. The entire staff was attentive, knowledgeable about the area, and genuinely seemed to care about making our stay special. The food Henry prepared was outstanding – every single meal was delicious. The views alone are worth the trip. The water is beautiful and the mountains in the background make for a truly unique experience. The fishing was so much fun (I caught more red snapper then I ever have), and the snorkeling was some of the best we've experienced. This was a complete experience. Everything felt top-shelf, from the accommodations to the amenities to the hospitality. If you're looking for a truly special getaway, you will not be disappointed in this place.

We had a great stay on this private island.  Manny was waiting for us at the airport and ferried us to the island.  Henry and Frederic cared for us while on island with great meals and service.  We loved the ability to dive into the water and snorkel right in front of the house.  Gorgeous views, breezes, and an evening fireside sunset.   Would do this again!

Little Peter Island is literally paradise.  From the time we got off the plane to the time we departed it was a 1st class experience.  The island is over the top beautiful and Jason, Manny, Fredrick, Alvin and Henry were absolutely perfect.   Ate fresh caught fish daily and Manny is so knowledgeable and hardworking it’s like having your own personal tour guide.  Thank you for everything and thank you for making our vacation so perfect.  We will be back next year for sure.

well, where do I start. it was awesome, beyond words and description. We were a family of 4, myself, my wife, my son and his wife. First of all, Jason was very helpful and quick to respond to my questions. he even went out of the way to provide halal beef that we requested and was ext difficult to find. when we booked the place,  he set up everything and delivered as promised. we were there for 4 nights. emilio met us at the airport and had our flights booked for Dangriga. very helpful. from there, Manni welcomed us and took us all the way to the island where we were welcomed by Henry ( the cook) and Alvin. they were all very welcoming. they had the fridge stocked with all tropical juices we requested, since we dont drink alcohol.  got 3 meals a day cooked by Henry right on site plus snacks. all the seafood ( snapper, lobsters, barracuda were csught right there). manni brought in fresh coconuts that requested. the place itself was perfect, overwater bungalow with the lagoon.

In a word, WOW! Jason was very helpful/accommodating with some hiccups, on my end. From landing at BZE—Emilio was right where Jason said he would be. He collected us, checked us in for Dangriga—even got us on an earlier flight & activated the staff to prepare for the transition. The staff—I can’t say enough about their professionalism and dedication to ensuring guests have the experience they desire. Manny—knowledgeable, kind, thoughtful. He met us at the airport, caught our food daily, shared food grown w/ love from his farm, & stayed ready for anything we might need. Mateo—THE chef—I wanted to bring him home with me! The love & care he put into ensuring meals were an experience—unmatched! From fresh ingredients, to seemingly reading my mind, & his ability to make the simple elegant & tasty—chef’s kiss! There were a couple of things out of their control—they even made accommodations for those. Everything I needed! Now I have to figure out how to get back there! Highly recommend!!

If you are on the fence - book it! We had an absolutely amazing time at the island. Here are a few of the highlights: * Completely a private experience. The staff were on site but very unnoticeable. If they needed to contact us, they used a 2 way radio. * The chef made unbelievably delicious food every meal! It was fresh, prepared perfectly, and beautiful presentation! * They caught us fresh lobsters hours before dinner. Can’t get any fresher! * The host responded to my emails within less than 24 hours. Most times it was within less than 2 hours. Being from out of the country, we had a little more to coordinate and he was helpful, professional, and knowledgeable every time. * Our flight home from BZE got shifted to a departure that was almost 2 hours early. This put our Dangriga flight too close. The team literally said “Don’t worry. We will make it work” and they did! I could write a novel, but let me just summarize with a huge THANK YOU to the entire group!

If you are looking for a bucket-list, unique experience, then book this place. We came to celebrate our 30th Anniversary and Little Peter Oasis exceeded our expectations. They walk you thru the process from Belize City to the Island. After customs in Belize City you will meet Emilio. He told us "you don't wait in lines". He checked us in at the counter and took our bags, then walked us thru security. Cost of the Maya Airlines flight to Dangriga was $360 US round trip and they will arrange that flight. After the 15 min flight, you are greeted by Manny. He will drive you 40 min to Hopkins where you'll take a private boat 30 minutes to the island. There you'll be greeted by your staff with a cocktail. This is a vacation completely customized to what you want. From when/what you eat, to excursions (or not) everyone is there to cater to you or leave you alone. The island, sea life, and wildlife are magical. Book this place!

We had a great time. Can’t say enough about the staff. They were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. They made sure we had everything we needed. The water was clear and warm. We enjoyed our stay.

What a beautiful retreat !! The peaceful setting the wildlife , to be able to Completely unplug from the daily hustle and watch the sunrise and the sunset , listen to jus the wind and the sea at night . We had every weather possible and it was always that more special . The fishing , lobstering , snorkeling , swimming . Albert took care of us like family with all his wonderful meals , Manny took us  to the reef and fishing , and and Larry always there making sure we always had what we needed . Most importantly of all the great service and personal touches from fresh flowers  and fruits from Manny’s  farm to fresh black beans from Albert’s farm , this is the place to visit ! They even had a special sunset meal and we shared our last meal together and had a fire and played corn hole while we prepare to say good bye the next day . Thank you for all you did for us , we will miss you but will be back for certain

Decided to stay at this amazing place for our 29th anniversary.  It was everything I had hoped for, weather aside, for this trip.  Jason has it down to a "T".  We arrived at the airport and immediately were put into the good hands of Emilio who made the whole process extremely simple.  Off to the marina to meet Manny who welcomed us with a big smile and the "I've got it from here" attitude "just sit back and enjoy"  Albert's meals were always a treat and I'm not sure the fish could get ANY fresher.  Alvin and Larry always made sure we were well taken care of with a well stocked fridge of beverages and to make sure we always had a dry chaise to lay on when the rains passed.    On our last night, the guys pulled out all the stops with dinner next to a beautiful bonfire and grilled lobster for dinner.  Albert even went so far as to decorate a beautiful anniversary cake for us.  The attention to detail was above and beyond and we are very thankful to the guys for making our trip so special

The property is just as described in the listing and Jason is a tremendous help with our travel plans. But what makes this place really stands out is the staff on the ground that makes our travel seamless and our stay as relaxing as possible. Albert, our chef, made food to order based on our preferences, bringing in jungle leaves and herbs just to make a traditional Mayan fish dish we talked about the day before. We had fresh seafood daily and is always willing to cook the fish that my kids caught off the dock, even when it's 30 minutes before dinner time. When my daughter told him she really loves drinking young coconut, they brought in coconuts from the mainland to make sure she gets one every day. Larry was very patient with my children, always willing to unhook fish and providing bait (this is for a child who spends 6 hours plus each day fishing off the dock). He also makes great virgin pina colada for them each day. Thank you for a fantastic vacation!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, however, felt like we did not get the full experience we were hoping for. To start with the positives: -The island and surrounding waters are beautiful! We saw nurse sharks, starfish and stingrays right from the deck! -The staff is really nice and friendly. -The trip there is long but made very easy and stress free with the assistance of Jason and his team from landing in BZE to getting to the island. Areas in need of improvement: -Too much dependency on one person-the main staff person (Manny) dropped us off at the island and did not come back until our last day there, which prevented us from enjoying excursions and activities which were paramount to the experience like snorkeling, island hopping and parasailing. In addition, certain ingredients needed for our meals were unavailable as the staff was waiting for Manny to come back in order to get it, which did not happen -Even though we filled out the intake form prior to our arrival, the staff were unprepared to accommodate my vegetarian dietary preference. I ate the same vegetables of broccoli, cauliflower and carrots the entire week for lunch and dinner. There was no variety even though the menu indicated there was eggplant available, when I asked for it, I was told they were out. -The staff was stocking the house while we were there, as opposed to having it prepared prior to our arrival and certain things were not restocked such as toilet paper which we needed to request. -For a $500 cleaning fee, the house was not as clean as I would expect. There was an empty bottle of rum sitting on the deck from the previous guests, a used washcloth in the shower, and used opened snacks in the cabinet as well as opened drinks. -We requested to have our flight from Dangriga changed to a later time because whoever originally booked it made it for way too early as our flight from BZE was much later in the afternoon and we had a 3 hour layover in BZE. We would rather have had a couple extra hours to spend on the island (still would have checked out before the check out time) since we paid so much to be there, and not to sit in BZE for 3 hours, but were lied to and told the flights could not be changed as they were booked. We checked ourselves and saw that there were two later flights we could have taken but they just wanted us to leave because when we left, they also left and had time off before needing to go back for the next guests. -There were other people on the island besides the staff. We heard laughing and voices as well as music playing and were later told it was people from the "statistics" office. I have no idea if that was true or not but it felt uncomfortable to have other people there other than the staff. -There is no way to communicate with staff like a two way radio or phone. This would assist with privacy as staff walk up to the house during the day unannounced besides to yell out "hello". As the only guests on the island, you expect a little more privacy and security. -The main house could use some updated conveniences, for example, the coffee pot was very old and had a burned and tattered heating element. It would have been nice to have a Keurig. (I later saw a Keurig in another guest house which I didnt even know existed until mid way though my vacation there) and even though I hinted that I wanted to borrow it to take to the main house, it was never done. Oh well. We also did not have bowls or spoons. Other items for you to consider: -Even though we did not mind at all as nature lovers, you should know there are a lot of geckos that climb the walls inside the house every night and make a lot of noise. We enjoyed the little critters but if you are not ok with lizards climbing around you, you may not like this. -There are a lot of sugar ants all over the house. You will have to share your food with them. There is no way to get rid of them it is just part of the experience. Again, we werent bothered so much by this. -There is no air conditioning except in the evening, when you need to let the staff know what time you want it on and they need to come in every night to turn it on. It shuts off very early morning and during the day, you rely on the fans and breeze. -You only have one time (which you need to let them know) when you can take a hot shower. We usually took them in the evenings after a day of swimming -The staff hopped a ride with us in our taxi to the airport as they were going home after we checked out. While we did not mind as we enjoyed our conversations with him, this may not sit well with everyone, so i thought it is good to note here. -The boat ride in to the island was a little rough, we bounced out of our seat when the boat hit big waves, Be sure to hold on tight, as we were unprepared for how much it jostled us around. Also, on the way back home, the boat stalled out. We were not affected as we still made the flight. -There was a strange boat that came very close to the house when we were sunbathing, the staff later told us it was most likely people lobstering. We never felt unsafe, but for a minute, we were a bit concerned because you arent expecting to see anyone that close to the island. Hopefully you find this helpful as we would have loved to

Desiree a private island rental is a very unique off grid experience that comes with a whole set of challenges that all island owners and their guests face regardless of whether you pay just 1500 per night to have an entire island to yourself or 3000-5000 per night at some of the other local properties.  Your honeymoon for two had 4 staff members to attend to your needs, plus me who you could have also messaged through Airbnb and I would have been glad to help in any way possible, despite Manny not feeling well and just trying to keep his distance (for your benefit).  Some of the housekeeping concerns that you highlighted were valid and simply unacceptable and have already been addressed with my staff.  As far as vegetarian meals, we are limited to vegetables that are locally available and in season.  We're sorry if some of the missing ingredients were not in season.  As far as your flight out of Dangriga it was scheduled properly to ensure that you have ample time to get to the airport should we encounter rain or rough seas which are common during hurricane season.  As far as other island visitors, the Belize Tourism Board, Census Bureau and Fisheries department all have jurisdiction to enter the island as they please.  Rarely does this happen, but when they do, we cater to their requests and I ask my chef to provide them with food and drink which might explain the talking and laughing you heard during their brief visit.   As for the coffee pot it is 1 year old and one that my wife picked out so that we could brew local Belizean coffee to help support local producers who do not offer K cups.  In any case, if you insisted on having a Keurig you should have just asked.  As for communication, 2-way radios are provided to our guests.  Your detailed account of the trip focuses very heavily on negatives and mentions very little about the positive things we do to make you feel welcome like the cool face towels provided upon arrival to flowers and towel figurines on your bed or the beautiful blue lagoon or amazing snorkeling right out your back door.   In the past 4 years we have had nothing but 5-star reviews from every guest which tells me we must be doing something right.  Perhaps not perfect in every way, but good enough to make so many people happy to bless us with amazing reviews and pages upon pages of amazing stories written in our onsite journal.  For those of you reading this, nowhere do we advertise perfection or white glove service with caviar.  We offer a great product at a great price and my staff are some of the kindest people on the planet.  They work very hard to take care of their guests with the incentive of earning good tips to help support their families in their villages.  Constructive criticism is always welcome as it makes us better and Airbnb provides a platform for delivering that feedback to owners privately and professionally.   Final food for thought, The Belize travel industry was dealt a devastating blow when COVID closed our borders.  For those who survived, we are blessed to say that we are coming back stronger than ever and encourage all new visitors to enter this beautiful country with a spirit of kindness and positivity and you will be amazed with the love that will be given to you in return. Little Peter Oasis was a unforgettable experience. The staff on the island could not be better. Manny and Larry took us Snorkeling and fishing and made sure we had a amazing time on every outing. Albert had amazing food ready for every meal. Larry and Albert really made our stay memorable. Had a fun last night playing hide and seek and asked Albert and Larry to play with us. I would recommend being on Larry's team! ( hint he likes hiding in trees lol) Best vacation ever!! We already went twice and planning a 3rd trip already.

This place is just amazing. It is truly like walking onto a movie set. You wont believe your eyes when you first set foot on the balcony with your own private view of the reef and lagoon. Private really means private on this beautiful island. Just you and the wonderful staff that make the stay a real five star experience. Every meal was delicious, every experience better than the last. You can do it all on Little peter Oasis, fishing, snorkeling, exploring are all literally steps outside your door. I have never felt so relaxed coming home from a vacation. This place is a true escape from everything! Trust me You wont regret it

This experience was like no other. We snorkeled, kayaked, fished, went lobstering and explored the island.   It is very difficult to put into words just how great the location, the waters, the staff all are.  Amazing, Gorgeous, Surreal come to mind!  We went to Ambergris Caye first but next time will not bother.  We learned so much about Belize, the Mayans and their culture from the staff.  Manny, Albert, and Larry were fantastic.  They love their job which says a lot!  It is so peaceful and beautiful.  We hope to return.  It was the best decision ever to book this place!

We stayed here for 3 nights in late March / early April 2022 with our 6 & 9 year old kids, and had a wonderful time. The views from the main house were stunning, and we loved being able to jump into the ocean any time they wanted (with no riptides or waves), or just see ocean creatures anytime from the deck. Right when we got there, we saw a family of nesting Ospreys in a mangrove tree, and loved observing them for the rest of our stay. We watched pelicans fishing, saw needlefish, barracudas and nurse sharks up close in the water, and found starfish and dozens of beautiful conch in the bay. My kids loved the putting green, and we made good use of all of the included equipment like kayaks, paddle board and snorkels. The staff was wonderful- Manny has kids around our kids ages and was really great with them on our fishing / snorkeling / island hopping excursion, teaching them to fish and finding special ways to entertain them at the reef. Jason was helpful well beyond the scope of this rental- he arranged other accommodations, helped with ground and domestic air transportation, and answered a ton of general questions about travel to Belize. We hadn't been before and weren't sure what to expect of the area around the island - we were sure there was some catch (like views of some ugly mainland power plant from the island or something ; ) But nothing of the sort was true and in fact it was more secluded / remote than we were imagining. Staying on the island was a very unique and memorable experience!

We checked out yesterday, and already miss it! We cannot say enough great things about the island, accommodations, staff and the owner, Jason. It was beyond what we imagined it would be. The communication from Jason was superb! We had a family of Osprey birds to our right and Pelicans to our left. Simply breath taking! We definitely plan on going back in a couple years! If you get the opportunity to stay here do it. If rest and relaxation and convenient snorkeling, kayaking or paddle boarding is what you enjoy doing then do it. Corn hole and Putt Putt too if you like outdoor games. Staff is awesome. Everything you would need is provided unless you need specifics.

Our stay at Little Peter Oasis was amazing. It was great to learn upon arrival that the island is exactly how it is shown and described in the listing. The communication from booking through our stay was wonderful. Jason was available to quickly answer any question we had up to the moment we landed on the island. We can't say enough about the staff of Little Peter Oasis.  When you get off the plane you are greeted and guided through the airport to get to either your next plane or to the helicopter for your trip to the island. This special service was so greatly appreciated. Once on the island you are then greeted by the amazing Little Peter Island Oasis staff (and a rum cocktail). The island has everything you need. The accommodations were spacious and clean and the views were unbelievable. The food and beverage service was also great!!! Our favorite on the island is the homemade tiki hut. We spent many nights hanging out there and having dinner and wonderful conversations with the staff. Thank you all so much for sharing this special place with us. We will definitely be back.

From the moment the boat docked and Salvatore handed us our delicious arrival cocktails it felt like we had died and went to heaven. Seriously. It took us a full 24 hours to convince ourselves that this place was real. The water was a shade of turquoise blue that I’ve never seen in my life. The scenery and feeling of complete serenity forces you to live in the moment. At the end of each day I wrote down exactly what we experienced because I knew even pictures wouldn’t do this place justice. We felt so welcomed by the staff. When we left we didn’t know what we were going to miss more, the breathing taking views or our new little Peter family. We had three nurse sharks that hung out under the house at night, they quickly became our pets—we named them after our three dogs that we were missing so much lol. You can truly tell how much love, sweat and time has gone into creating little Peter oasis and it is remarkable! The staff puts so much heart and effort into everything they do. Jason, thank you for sharing your piece of heaven with us! This adventure was so special to us, we even came across a beautiful name while island hopping and immediately knew that one day we would name our daughter, Kiana, and we will always think of Belize & Our little Peter oasis. Here is a full review of Little Peter Oasis, covering the good, the bad, and all the things you should know when contemplating booking your stay here. **Overall: 10/10** This place was everything I had hoped for and more. My family spent 7 days here, and it was the best vacation we had ever had. **3 Best Things about this place** 1. Everything is taken care of. From landing in the airport, we were met by a concierge who directed us where to go, and took our luggage. Any time we needed to go anywhere the island concierge would book us a shuttle, a boat, get tickets for zip lining, or whatever we wanted. We never had to shop around or try to figure out how to navigate around. This allowed the trip to be 100% stress free. 2. The island is truly gorgeous. The reef is right in our backyard, and we could see and swim with tens of thousands of fish, including pufferfish, giant rays, and nurse sharks. 3. Our private chef, Salvador, made some really great food. We recommend fish tacos and lobster. All the food was fresh and local. If we wanted lobster for dinner, they would go out diving for them that day. If we wanted fish, they would go catch them. The filet mignon came from a local ranch, and all the fruits and vegetables came from local farms. All the food was made from scratch whenever we wanted. **3 Worst things about this place** To be fair, I have to mention the bad with the good, but don't forget my overall rating was 10/10, so the bad pales in comparison to the countless amazing things this land has to offer. 1. Bugs. They spray the island for bugs, but you can never get them all. We had a bonfire one night and got entirely eaten alive, and were itchy for the rest of the trip. If you are going to have a bonfire, I highly suggest you request they spray the island that very day, and also wear long pants and sleeves. Furthermore, there will be bugs in the house. They are mostly tiny - like the side of the ball fin the tip of a pen, but they crawl all around the floor if you look closely. As for larger bugs, there are a few flying around the house, and we did wake up a few times and notice some dead flying bugs in the bedsheets with us. You're in the tropics - bugs are unavoidable. 2. The internet is slow. Don't get me wrong, it's amazing that we have internet at all on a desert island off the coast of Belize, but be aware if you need to do work while here the internet may make that impossible, depending on how much bandwidth you need. Checking emails is fine. 3. Limited indoor activities if the weather is bad. While we were there we had only one rainy day. There were playing cards, and a few games, but they could really add some more. On the bright side, this can easily be fixed by bringing some of your own. **Things you should know** 1. Tipping is optional, but we were told a "normal" amount is to tip the entire staff 10-15% of your total bill, to tip your drivers a couple bucks depending on the length, and to tip your your guides $10-20 if you go do any activities like zip lining. You can tip cash, or you can tip by credit card at the end of your stay. 2. Once you fly into Belize City, someone will be waiting for you holding a sign with your name on it. They will take your luggage, and also take a credit card and go buy tickets to fly on a small plane to Dangringa Airport (15min flight, $40/person). From there, you will be picked up by a shuttle that will take 50 minutes to drive to Hopkins. From there, you will get on a boat and sail for 30 more minutes until you arrive at the island. They virtually hold your hand through the entire process so you have no opportunity to get lost or mess up. On your way back to Belize City after you have finished your stay on Little Peter Oasis, you can take the same little plane, but many people like the long scenic drive back to Belize City. Personally I get carsick, but I am told it is beautiful and worth doing. Alternatively, the island has a helicopter pad, and you can go straight from Belize city to the island in 20 minutes if you want to drop $2000 USD. Contact the host about setting that up. 3. Most sunscreens contain oxybenzone, which is toxic to coral reefs - it would be nice if you could bring some reef-safe sunscreen. 4. The host, Jason, is highly responsive. Message him if you have any questions, and he will respond promptly and politely. I must have sent him a dozen emails before arriving. Again, overall rating is 10/10, best vacation ever, would definitely recommend.

Thanks Colin for your positive review, we're so glad you had a great visit and hope you come back again!  We will definitely take into consideration your constructive feedback as well.  As it relates to bugs,  we apply a relatively expensive treatment for controlling insects on the island and have had very few complaints if any.  The only problem is if it rains the treatment can wear off and then we have to reapply.   I suspect that might be what happened.   One good local remedy/secret that we try to advocate is the use of baby oil on your legs as it works amazingly well in keeping the critters away!  Hope this helps. Take Care and Safe travels!  Jason

This was one of the best trips of our lives. I can't say enough about Jason and the entire staff at Little Peter Oasis. Manny, Salvador, Kevin and Alvin all went way above and beyond to make sure every little detail was taken care of. We can't wait to return some day. This place is even better than the pictures show.

Little Peter exceeded our expectations. The property and amenities are beyond compare! The staff took fabulous care of our family, including 2 boys (11,13), and even gave my youngest a lesson in making fry jacks.  There was plenty to keep everyone busy for the week without any excursions to the mainland but a snorkeling trip to the reef is a must!!!  Thank you Jason, Manny, Salvador, Alvin, and Randy for helping create amazing memories!!!

This place is every bit as good as it looks. We've stayed everywhere in Belize, and what the owner has here is magic in the natural beauty that has been merely enhanced by authentic, yet classy accomodations. What no one else has that truly makes the experience is the phenomenal 4 staff members that have you sad to leave because you feel like you are losing family as the boat pulls away. If you are thinking about this place, stop thinking and go.  The location makes you not need excursions, the staff make you not miss a traditional resort experience as the food is phenomenal and the seclusion is what a tired soul needs for a break. We will be back, and referring our friends. The owner even checked on us when weather turned and anticipated changes to make sure we were to mainland and not worrying about catching flight home. Thanks for this amazing vacation during the height of Covid.

Me and my husband really enjoyed our stay. The villa is perfectly designed, with wrap around veranda , so you can always shelter from the breeze, doesn’t matter where the wind is coming from. Beds are comfortable and we never used the air conditioning as we found that it was always cool to sleep if you open the window shutters. I recommend banana and chocolate pancakes for breakfast, they are so yummy! I also had a stone crab for dinner once. Make sure you request it, the meat is so tender and almost sweet. Chef also made a chocolate cake for my belated birthday. We enjoyed the mini golf and played it every afternoon . The mini golf area is perfect for practicing your putting and also for star gazing at night. We called it “ Astro turf helipad” . If you are into star gazing you will be very happy as when the sky is clear you can see millions of stars thanks to the total darkness around you! Keep in mind that fresh fish supply can be very limited when the sea is rough/ strong winds, that’s our only negative comment as we didn’t have the fresh fish daily .

Little Peter Oasis!!! Where do I begin, this little piece of Paradise went above and beyond what we expected! From the time of booking, Jason was helpful and responded immediately to any and all questions and concerns. our arrival into Belize city to catch our connecting flight to Dangria went so smoothly with the help of Emilio, who greeted us and made sure we were well taken care almost, VIP status through the airport. Manny where can we begin, he picked us up at the Dangria airport to take us over to the marina. He was so helpful, friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our trip was amazing. Once at the marina we were met by Mickey and Alvin who were going to boat us over to the island. I will not forget the excitement we felt as the boat neared our little Paradise. We were greeted on the dock by Randy, yet another amazing person we were blessed to meet on this trip. Every single name I mentioned, each of these individuals made our trip. We enjoyed their company and felt like they were more of an extended family than staff. Mickeys cooking was AMAZING!!! Alvin, Manny, Randy made our time fishing, snorkeling, fish tossing, lobster catching an amazing experience.  Our cornhole tournament and the bonfire roasting marshmallows with the guys on the last night was such a nice intimate touch to close off our extremely amazing weekend at Little Peter Oasis. Without a doubt we plan on coming back, maybe a new tradition to visit once a year at least. already planning our next trip!!! Jason did a wonderful job with the island and with the staff!!!!

This property surpassed our expectations even after reading all the five star reviews.  If you’re looking for a spot on the ocean that is peaceful without other vacationers and you are willing to be patient with spotty internet and planned hot water for showers (to be expected on a a private island) this place is heaven.  My family of 4 including two college students probably had the best island experience ever and we travel lots around the holidays.  We lucked out with good weather so that helped but I have not one bad comment to make.  The sunsets every night we’re probably the best we have ever seen.  The owner and staff communicate very well and think of everything that you may need to make your stay enjoyable including rain jackets on the boat in case it starts to rain and you need it.   The cost was a bit higher than we usually spend due to the time of year we chose to go, but it was worth every penny.  We hope to go back one day!

Amazing! The most beautiful place I have ever been to. Whether you are looking to just relax by the water or be adventurous on the excursions nothing will disappoint. The guys on the Island become family helping 10x your overall experience from food, hospitality and conversations! You will not be disappointed!

There are no words to express how amazing our experience was! The magic of this island was a dream come to life. Manny, Micky, and Alvin are beyond phenomenal and we can never thank them enough. Hands down best vacation EVER!

We had the most amazing vacation at Little Peter Oasis!  The island itself is simply beautiful with gorgeous views wherever you look.  The reef to snorkel provided great entertainment and just watching all the sea life swim around the house was so cool.  The staff were incredible - shout out to Manny, Mickey, Alvin and Randy!  We asked Mickey to cook his specialties and everything was delicious!  We hope to come back for a visit again soon!

Little Peter's Oasis is an extraordinary place and experience.  You cannot ask for a more beautiful location - WOW.  Our favorite parts included being on the boat with Manny and having him show us the unbelievable sights; kayaking around the island to just float above the coral gardens and wonder at the sealife so visible; hours or lounging on the deck looking out at the lagoon and the sea; and interacting with your amazing staff including Micky, Randy, and Alvin.  We were so pampered, and yet left to ourselves!   We hope we can make a return trip.

This was without a doubt one of the best hidden gems we have found. Far exceeded our expectations and the service all the way around was the best.  I highly recommend taking the boat there and the helicopter back.  Jason and his team were absolutely amazing.  We will for sure be sending everyone we know their way. WOW, where do you start when everything was so amazing! This has to be one of the most beautiful places on the planet and has a stellar staff. The island and the house is every bit as beautiful as the pictures and I think it should be on everyone's must do list! Jason was a huge help in assisting us in coordinating our trip and answered all our questions rapidly. Manny and the staff are so warm, kind and hard working, we can not thank them enough. This was the best vacation I have ever had and can't wait to come back and do it again!

This was the trip of a lifetime. LPO exceeded every single expectation. We love, love, love the staff there. These guys are so fun and so dedicated to making your trip fantastic. Thank you Chef Freddy, Larry, Marcelo, and Manny for treating us like queens.Manny took us fishing and we ate our delicious catch for dinner that night. Also, a nice touch is the fact that we were met at the airport in Belize City by Emilio. He took care of everything and got us lined up for the short flight to Dangriga. On the way back we arrived early and he had a cab pick us up and take us to a nice little place on the river for lunch and arranged the return ride to the airport so we did not have to wait in the very crowded airport. This was the royal treatment in every way.

Loved our stay. Beautiful island. We stayed the end of February into first week of March, perfect time. Dry season. 80’s all day. Tips: #1 Very windy at night and sea becomes very choppy so arrive early and plan to leave early. I love boats so I had a blast but others may get scared. #2 No need to pack a bunch of clothes. Sun dress or two. It is hot! We went bare foot and in dresses the entire time. Will need tennis shoes if you go to Ruins. We brought 1 suitcase for 3 women and that was plenty. #3 Look over things you may like to see in Belize and have a plan. You are on an island and getting you to places does take time. The caretaker, Manny, will help you figure out what is possible and what isn’t. #4 Jason, the host, replies within minutes to messages! So reach out if need be. #5 You will meet lots of nice people! Every thing is taken care of, from the moment you land in Belize City, you will have a guide along the way. #6 Be flexible !!! We loved the people, food, experience! Be nice and every one will be nice to you!!

My husband and I enjoyed taking life slow and enjoying all Little Peter (and the surrounding area) had to offer! The oasis in the back is amazing but we’d highly recommend taking the snorkel gear and swimming next to the trees and on the other side of the island where the pier is! This is an amazing place to stay!! Gorgeous accommodations with a view unlike any other!! We really enjoyed watching the pelicans off the deck and seeing all of the beautiful sea life right off the deck. The kayaks, paddle boards and snorkeling gear were great to have available. The staff was outstanding and very accommodating. Manny was great fun on our excursions and very knowledgeable of the area and fun to spend time with. Micki and Freddy prepared wonderful meals for us 3 times a day! You must try Freddy's lobster!! Alvin did an awesome job on keeping our accommodations spotless!! Larry was always available and very fast to respond to any and all of our requests. The staff is great they were always there when we need them, but they also knew when to give us time alone. Little Peter's island and the experience are a wonderful addition to anyone's bucket list..and will not disappoint!

The Little Peter Oasis in a word...Incredible. We really wondered if it could possibly be as beautiful in person as it appeared in pictures. Our minds were blown. It is truly a stunning property. The staff (Manny, Freddy, Larry & Alvin) were great. They were always happy to help in any way possible. Having an island all to yourself is such a special experience. Our snorkeling trip was the best we've ever had. We saw a massive sea turtle, nurse sharks, barracuda, sting rays and every color fish and coral you can imagine. The snorkeling right off the deck of the house is really excellent as well. We had multiple sting rays swim right up to the deck and there is a really cool area full of all sorts of shells. The pelicans put on great aerial shows all day long. It is helpful to remember that being on a small island means there are limitations on hot water and electricity. If you go in knowing this it won't be a bother, but it is something you might not have thought of. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, romantic or once in a lifetime experience.

Little Peter Oasis is a beautiful private island with all the amenities - and a fantastic host in Jason, and a most attentive island staff!  A perfect getaway for a couple or two, while enjoying  a tropical paradise!

All I can say about our trip to Little Peter Oasis is that it was an awesome experience! Everything about the trip was first class and exceeded all our expectations. Our host Jason and his entire staff went out of their way to ensure that we had a very relaxing and enjoyable trip. Jason was always very quick to respond to any questions we had before our arrival and had arranged all the logistics once we hit the ground in Belize City. Upon in Belize City Jason’s staff on the ground took great care of us, and made sure we made our connection to Dangriga. Then once we arrived in Dangriga, Manny took over and quickly got us to our island paradise. What can I say about Manny, he is a great guide and always made sure we enjoyed ourselves. The snorkeling and fishing were great as were the accommodations and meals. On our last night on the island, Manny and his staff made a camp fire on the shore near a table they had set up for us to enjoy a romantic candlelight dinner with a bottle of wine. The final personalized touch was Jason called us on our last day on the island to check in with us to be sure we had enjoyed ourselves. Based on our total experience I would highly recommend visiting Little Peter Oasis, I know we will be going back.

Jason’s Island is done well. From the moment you arrive in Belize City and Emilio meets you to get you on the short flight to Dangriga where you land and Manny is waiting to valet you to the marina and boat you onto the island. The house is as amazing as it looks - stylish, fun, on the water, beautiful. The staff are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Chef Freddy is there to make whatever you want and is a spectacular cook. Manny knows all the local spots and always has a smile on his face. Alvin and Larry keep everything clean and help make it a great experience. A private island, with 360 degree views, an amazing staff, fresh caught seafood, coral reefs and a beautiful country. The four of us had a wonderful time. If you can find a time slot that isn’t already booked, book it!

An unforgettable experience! Little Peter Oasis is one of the most fantastic and romantic places one could image. I chose this as the perfect spot for my proposal and couldn't have asked for a better place. Jason and team helped out immensely in making that moment special. Little Peter's Oasis was a true dream. My boyfriend and I just arrived home from a literal paradise. We spent our glorious days snorkeling right off of our private dock, kayaking in solitude, dreamily looking at the coral on a SUP, napping, reading, world class fishing, and island hoping. Initially when we were booking our stay we were a bit skeptic. Could this little oasis be as magnificent as the pictures and description seem? Hands down, absolutely it far exceeded our expectations. Perhaps to me one of the most special aspects of our time on the oasis was our staff. Manny, the manager, Oren, the cook, Larry and Alvin who attended to our every need and whim. The four gentlemen kept us completely cared for entertained and relaxing at just the perfect amount. It was a pleasure to get to know them, and engage in conversations about local culture. I cannot say enough about how wonderful they made our stay. Every moment from the time we landed in Dangrigia, picked up by Manny, drove 20ish minutes through rural Belize to the marina, boated 9 nautical miles to our private oasis was an adventure of joy, exploration, intrigue, relaxation, and peace. Jason, the host we extremely responsive and accommodating. There was not a detail that he had not thought through. From the International Airport to our Maya Air transfers he guided us through to assure it was more than smooth. If you are looking for refuge, peace, adventure, exploration, and more I can whole heartedly recommend Little Peter's Oasis. While I was sitting on a lounge chair looking at the crystal waters of Belize, I booked my second stay to bring my children with me so they can experience the magic I did. I feel like I should include that Belize is a truly special country. There are so many wonderful opportunities. I have visited four times over 20 years. I have traveled to 6 continents. Whenever I am asked what my favorite country is I always reply Belize. It would be worth your time to do four days on Little Peter Oasis, and a few more in the jungle. For a very versatile trip of a life time.

Island is too good to be true. Place is luxury, water around is perfect for any activity and team makes you feel special. Truly incredible Chef. I would say our team was on the challenging side to address. We spearfish few times a day and while it is entertainment for all as catch always unexpected, at the same time its lot of fish due to excellent reef around and we want to eat what we bring from the water. Oren was able to amaze us with every meal. Honestly we didn’t want to leave. Looking forward to visit again. Big thank you to the team: Manny, Oren, Alvin and Larry. This was an incredible pick for our honeymoon! From the beginning it was an easy process. Jason was very quick to respond and extremely helpful to arrange the trip as well as help us along the way by making sure all transportation details were figured out. We decided to take the helicopter out to the island which was a really fun and quick way to get there! Definitely recommend that and Emilio was at the airport ready to help us along the way. Once on the island we snorkeled every single day just by swimming off our dock as well as taking a boat ride to the main reef. Manny the concierge was so helpful and accommodating to make sure we really experienced all the island had to offer. He and Larry took us out on the reefs as well as fishing and to a local bar out on another island. Oren cooked delicious meals every day and in the meantime we just relaxed out on the awesome decks. Overall a very exciting but peaceful vacation that we would recommend to anyone! You cannot beat the views and the experience, photos do not do it justice!

The staff is amazing. They go above and beyond. Chef Oren made excellent meals. Manny took us to some really nice places. We went fishing, to the reef and two other islands. The views are spectacular. The stars at night are indescribable. It’s so peaceful. Having kayaks and a paddle board at our disposal is a great amenity. Jason is a nice guy, easy going and easy to get in touch with. You won’t be disappointed. Perfect spot for our honeymoon. Hope to return!

Everyone should definitely take the helicopter into Little Peter Oasis! It really sets the tone for the authentic island experience. A must. First class hospitality of your staff. Starting with Emilio who got us through customs promptly. On to Gustavo our pilot. And we can’t adequately express in words the incredible island staff of Manny, Chef Oren, Larry and Alvin. Their care and personal attention was out of this world. Wish we could take them home with us or better yet not ever leave. They are like family to us all now. You have a piece of Heaven that you have offered to be shared and for that we are grateful to be able to experience it on our anniversary. Jason’s island is amazing. Literally, it’s the most peaceful place in the world. He and his staff are exceptional. When we arrived in Belize our luggage didn’t make it. Jason had a local contact handle our luggage issue and it met us in Dangriga the next day. Manny, the concierge was awesome. He’s the fun guy on the island, who’s in charge of excersions. He took us snorkeling where we saw a sand shark and he even caught us fresh lobster to eat for dinner! The chef, Oren, is out of this world. We had different entrees every night and they were absolutely delicious! The caretakers were also wonderful. They cleaned our house daily and they were available 24/7 to take care of our needs. I would highly recommend Jason’s island. It’s great for couples or families. I can’t wait to return with my newphew!

We loved staying at Little Peter's Oasis! Everything was beyond my expectations 360 views of the ocean, immaculate island and home with an exceptional staff. We spent our trip snorkeling in the reef all around the island, kayaking, fishing, and relaxing on the deck. Our concierge Manny surprised us each day with excursions close to the island and even took us to a nearby island bar. The private chef Oren wowed us each day with local creative dishes. This was truly an amazing vacation, having your own private island is something everyone experience! We will definitely be back
