Our party of 14 absolutely LOVED staying at this resort. We had the whole place to ourselves and the staff was incredible. Our kids (ages 8-16) especially enjoyed taking the tubes and floating in the river. We would absolutely stay here again if we go back to San Ignacio!

The pictures don't really do this place justice. We were all blown away by the beauty of the river flowing by, as well as the charm of the bedrooms and common spaces. While we were a little uncertain about how things operate (since we found it on Airbnb, we were thinking more traditional house than hotel, but it is a small hotel that we privatized with our large group), those concerns quickly vanished when I spoke ahead of time about what to expect. When one of our members became extremely sick with a migraine, the staff did such a caring job of helping out with whatever he needed. The food was outstanding! We even had several dietary restrictions in our group (severe nut allergy, gluten/dairy intolerant, vegetarian) and they still made delicious meals. The location was just perfect - off the beaten path but close to the places we wanted to go. Everyone was extremely friendly and looked for ways to help out. We all loved it!

We had the whole place to ourselves and it was a great stay. Beautiful location on the river which is great to swim in and we spent a lot of time in the pool and on the deck which was fantastic! The entire property was very clean and the entire staff (Jose, Marsha and everyone else) took great care of us and made us feel at home, food and drink were also excellent. Would definitely stay again!

I hosted a wellness group retreat in Belize and this was the perfect location for the attendees. The beautiful views of the river and accessibility to the local community was a great addition for a true Belizean experience.

Mahogany Hall was just as beautiful as the pictures. Everything was extremely clean and comfortable. Jose was a fantastic bar tender and being able to have a cocktail in the hammocks overlooking the river was just amazing. We appreciated the availability of having our breakfast and dinner there as well as some great recommendations for other restaurants in the area. We would highly recommend Mahogany Hall and would definitely stay there again.
