The Space

Barefoot Bliss provides everything needed for a tropical getaway. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, Villas Guapinol is only a seven-minute walk from the beautiful Langosta Beach. This condo complex offers a wonderful opportunity to experience the Pura Vida lifestyle.

The open-concept main living area is bright and spacious, with many windows allowing natural light to fill the space. It offers plenty of room to relax or gather with friends and family on the large L-shaped sofa. Board games are available for entertainment, and a 50-inch flat-screen TV can be enjoyed while reclining in the comfortable chair.

Each bedroom includes a cozy queen-size pillowtop bed, individual air conditioning, a private bathroom, and generous closet space. The master bedroom opens onto the balcony, providing a bright and airy atmosphere with blackout curtains for sleeping in or afternoon naps after a day at the beach. The second bedroom contains a queen bed plus an additional single/day bed for an extra guest.

The kitchen is perfect for those who love to cook. It is stocked with cookware and small appliances, including a large air fryer. The spacious refrigerator with an ice maker can easily store leftovers. A dishwasher is also provided for convenient cleanup.

For guests who need to work or stay connected, there is a dedicated workspace in the living room with a desk and comfortable chair.

The rear balcony, accessible from the living room, receives plenty of afternoon sun and overlooks the shared pool. It offers sheltered outdoor seating under a large overhead fan, making it an excellent spot for dinner by the grill at sunset.

The large outdoor pool area is available to all guests and includes ample seating and facilities such as a washroom. An outdoor shower is also provided to rinse off sand after returning from the nearby beach.

Guest Access

Guests may use the common areas between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. Each unit has one dedicated parking space inside the locked gate. The complex features a secured gate and a locked stairwell. Guests will receive a code for the lockbox to retrieve two gate keys before arrival. If you plan to have a vehicle, please request the code for the driveway gate lock.

The unit has a unique access code that changes with each guest. Inside the unit, beside the refrigerator, there is a key for the laundry room. Please lock the laundry room and return the key to the hook after use.

Guests are welcome to use anything inside the unit, including condiments, oils, and spices. Access to the owner's locked storage or the roof is not permitted.

There is a $25 fee for each lost access key. The safe operates with a key that must remain inside the condo. Lost safe keys incur a $60 charge, and if a locksmith is required after hours, the fee is $120.

Other Things to Note

• The unit is located on the second floor and is accessible only by stairs. The condo itself is a single-level space.
• Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
• Please do not flush toilet paper or any garbage down the toilet. Due to limited sewage systems and septic tanks in Costa Rica, waste should be disposed of in the provided wastebaskets.
• Guanacaste Province experiences droughts from December through April, which may lead to rolling water shutoffs. The property has two large holding tanks to manage these periods, but guests are encouraged to conserve water by turning off faucets when not in use, reusing towels, avoiding unnecessary laundry loads, and reporting leaks or running toilets promptly.
• Occasionally, internet or power outages may occur due to weather conditions. If service does not resume within an hour, please contact the host for assistance.

Insects and Wildlife

As a tropical location, occasional ants may be seen indoors. If there is a significant presence, please notify the host to arrange ant traps. Outdoor ants play an important role in the environment and should be left undisturbed.

Cockroaches are present in Costa Rica but rarely seen inside. Their appearance does not indicate uncleanliness or infestation, as they are solitary and not social insects. Cockroach spray is available on the property if needed. Please avoid leaving food or garbage outside, as raccoons and skunks in the area may disturb trash bins located outside the complex's side gate.

Electricity Usage for Extended Stays

For stays of four weeks or longer, discounted rates include up to 750 kWh of electricity (approximately US$175), which covers reasonable use of air conditioning and the dryer. Any usage beyond this limit will be charged to guests. This allowance supports responsible energy consumption during extended visits.
