The Space

Casa Colorados is a beautiful five-bedroom beachfront home located in the secure gated community of Hacienda Iguana, right on Colorados Surf Break. The house features a stunning beachfront pool, an oceanfront pavilion, and all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.

This luxurious estate is situated on the largest oceanfront parcel of land in front of the main surf peak of Colorados, covering 1/3 acre. With over 6,200 square feet of living space, Casa Colorados offers ample accommodation for you, your friends, and family.

The estate includes:

• Five spacious bedrooms, each with a private bathroom
• An additional TV room that can serve as a sixth bedroom
• A newly constructed 1,200 square foot oceanfront pavilion that doubles as a game room and outdoor kitchen

This massive structure is perfect for hosting small weddings, yoga retreats, holistic events, and other activities.

Location

One of the greatest advantages of Casa Colorados is its prime location, where the waves literally touch the property at high tide. Sitting directly on the main peak of Colorados, there is no need to travel for surfing. The waves are consistently perfect, with A-frame lefts and rights breaking throughout the day during all tides.

The waves are groomed 24/7 by the offshore winds from Central America's largest lake and break over the replenishing sandbars formed by the river mouth to the south. Photographers will find ample opportunities to capture stunning surf shots without leaving Casa Colorados.

For those looking for a break from surfing, a nine-hole golf course is conveniently located right behind the estate, offering a relaxing way to enjoy a leisurely round of golf. Guests can also visit Iguana Brewery, uniquely owned by Casa Colorados, where all guests enjoy discounted rates on food and drinks.

Guest Access

The house, pool, and oceanfront pavilion are fully accessible to guests. Occasionally, the owners stay in the casita located at the back of the house, but guests will maintain full privacy, and the owners will not use the house, pool, or yard. The casita has its own separate entrance outside of the main house.

Other Things to Note

The base rate is for up to six people, with an additional per-person cost for more than six guests. The house accommodates a maximum of 12 people.

Meal Package Info

Our meal packages offer you a personal chef whose services include purchasing fresh food, meal preparation, cooking delicious meals, and cleanup.

Breakfast options include:

• Pancakes
• Banana pancakes
• French toast
• Eggs
• Omelets
• Gallo pinto
• Hash browns
• Fresh fruit
• Tortillas and/or toast
• Served with coffee and freshly made fruit juices

Lunch and dinner generally consist of:

• Meat (chicken, fish, beef, pork, or lobster) with potatoes, rice, and/or tostones alongside a salad and/or fresh vegetables
• Our chef can also prepare sandwiches, lasagna, tacos, burritos, pasta, hamburgers, BBQ, pizza, or a particular dish of your choice—just ask!

If you choose to dine out at any local restaurants, we will gladly reimburse you. We just ask for a 24-hour notice if you do not want a certain meal to avoid over-preparation.

Meal Packages are priced as follows:

• Groups of 4-6 people:

  • 3 meals a day for $55/person/day (includes non-alcoholic beverages and a snack basket)
  • 2 meals a day for $45/person/day (includes non-alcoholic beverages)
  • Only dinner for $22/person or $27/person for lobster, shrimp, or steak dinner (no drinks included)

• Groups of 7 or more people:

  • 3 meals a day for $50/person/day (includes non-alcoholic beverages and a snack basket)
  • 2 meals a day for $40/person/day (includes non-alcoholic beverages)
  • Only dinner for $20/person or $25/person for lobster, shrimp, or steak dinner (no drinks included)
