At Villas Serenidad, you'll fall asleep and wake up to sea breezes & sounds; enjoy a practically-private beach; + still be in close proximity to the vibrant and authentic town of Puerto Viejo (we are about a 15-20 minute walk by beach or a 10 minute bike ride). We are committed to making your vacation spectacular! The space This custom-built hardwood villa has has a spacious air conditioned bedroom, and beautiful covered outdoor kitchen and living area. You are steps away from our lush, tropical gardens with a direct path to the surf at the quiet Playa Negra beach. The villa sleeps 2 people. It is fully-equipped with the following: - Full bathroom, stocked with bath and beach towels - Internet and Wi-Fi (Fiber Optic!) - Fully-equipped kitchen - Clean Drinking Water with our Eco Filter System in the kitchen - Private parking Guest access Guests will have full access to their reserved Villa. This property houses 5 Villas in which guests may encounter one another. Enjoy the shared garden spaces and beachfront area. Take a 20 –minute stroll down the beach, or a 5-minute car ride, to the bohemian, laid-back & culturally-diverse town of Puerto Viejo. Puerto Viejo offers delicious restaurants, fun shopping, and opportunities for surfing, jungle hikes, river-rafting, zip-lines, chocolate tours, animal sanctuary, yoga classes, snorkeling, horseback riding, and paddle boarding. Other things to note Ocean front villas with large shared garden space. Please note that the Garden View Units are on the ground floor, and there are Ocean View Units above these. It is not a cement building, so it is possible you will hear the guest activity above you.

This place was honestly perfect. From the moment we got there, it felt calm and welcoming. The house was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. You can tell they really cares about their guests — he checked in to make sure we were comfortable but also gave us our space to just relax. The best part was the view of the beach — waking up to the sound of the waves and sitting outside with coffee every morning was unreal. It felt private but still close enough to everything we wanted to do. Couldn’t recommend it more thank you, for being such an amazing host!

Great place to stay near to Puerto Viejo. Enjoyed the direct beach access a lot. The hosts were super friendly and very responsive - even though we arrived very late they provided an in-person greeting. Thanks a lot for having us!🤙🏽

What a beautiful spot just steps from the beach! We felt very comfortable, safe and at home. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The hosts and the staff were amazing!

This place was great! Just short walk through the garden to Playa Negra and about a 20 min walk from town. We rented bikes from Banana Azul up the rode for $8 a day to make getting around easier. The open air kitchen and living room was very nice and we had a friendly kitty visits us every night! The bathroom was wonderful with good water pressure. They had wine and chocolate for us when we arrived which was lovely! The only thing that we noticed was the bed was extremely firm, but after exploring all day we were so tired it didn’t really matter! The AC worked great as well! Would love to come back!

This place is breathtaking! Had the best experience with my hubby and definitely will be staying here again in the future. Very clean and super private. Sounds of the ocean and tropical birds were the icing on the cake. Thank you !
