Fantastisch mooi huisje met alle nodige voorzieningen (barbecue, keukengerief, badjassen, airco, ... -- wel geen vaatwasser of wasmachine). Het huis was netjes opgeruimd en heel proper. We voelden ons echter niet helemaal comfortabel met de camera's in de tuin en vonden het jammer dat we bij de vele stroomonderbrekingen (in de gehele wijk) telkens opnieuw het warm water en de airco moesten inschakelen. Weet ook dat je vanaf de hoofdweg een rit van zo'n 10 minuten moet maken over een aarden weg (wat ons niet stoorde). Maar al bij al hadden we een heerlijk verblijf in dit luxueuze huis! Leuk pluspunt was het capucijneraapje dat elke avond over het hek klom, de kolibri die in de tuin nestelde en de toekans die we in de hoge bomen van het regenwoud zagen vliegen!

The house is really nice, has a good space, was very clean and has everything you need. We took our dog and everything is fenced but part of the garden needs maintenance, other than that, just keep in mind that it is a 30min drive to the nice restaurants and beaches.

El lugar es muy bonito!!! La anfitriona fue muy atenta, todo estaba bastante limpio, le ponen mucha atención al detalle.

It was a good option for our family. We liked the pool, the house was clean with nice touches. The stove and oven are portable, but worked well for us (we cooked most of our meals). The drive was a bit longer inside the neighborhood than I would liked it to be, but not an issue with a small SUV or 4x4. About 15-20 min drive to great restaurants and 20-25 min to Punta Uva and Manzanillo beaches (we found those two as our favorite). We thank the host for their attention to details and a great accommodation.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in der Villa Amalfi. Das Haus wirkt sehr neu, das Grundstück ist sehr schön angelegt. 2 Bäder direkt neben jedem Schlafzimmer, in der Mitte ein Aufenthaltsraum mit gut ausgestatteter Küche. Die Anfahrt war etwas holprig. Das Haus liegt im Wald in einer Ferienhaussiedlung relativ weit hinten (ca. 10 min Schotterpiste). Dort hinten war es dafür sehr ruhig und entspannt, umgeben von großen Bäumen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

Very nice place. However, the noise from nearby construction sites was annoying and we were not able to fully enjoy our stay. The location is quite remote and the road leading there is in poor condition. The pool water was cold, and some facilities are starting to show signs of rust. Overall, the experience was okay, but it did not feel like a 5-star standard.
