We booked this based on location and size. The location was excellent and felt very safe. Lots of great restaurants and sites to see within walking distance. The unit is exactly as pictured and was nice to spread out for a group. We enjoyed the rooftop patio as well as the balconies off the living areas. Mauricio was very responsive during our stay. Would highly recommend.

Casa Compadre was a great place to stay with our family. The space is huge and every one of the bedrooms has its own en suite bathroom. And the location is perfect. Nothing in the Old City is more than a 6-7 minute walk. Mauricio was a great host and always responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend

Mauricio was extremely accommodating in cleaning after early departure of pervious tenants so we could check in upon arrival. He arranged for transport from and to the airport (4:30 a.m. departure) by friendly and helpful drivers (favorable cost). Phenomenal host The premise was extremely comfortable and spacious, and the layout of rooms and bathrooms was perfect. There were balconies on each level, a few interior charming courtyards, and rooftop area with chairs and great views. There were AC units in each room, and the bedding was top quality. The decorations in the common areas were great, making us feel at home the moment we arrived. We made a few inquiries with Mauricio, and he was very quick to answer with great suggestions. The location was perfect for night activities (rooftop lounges) and for walks to some local sights and squares in the historic city as well as to the bike/walking path leading to several parks and waterfront areas in the old city and nearby modern city.

We had an excellent stay in Panama City . Location was perfect , right in the heart of old town and just a quick taxi away from the city center. Rooms were clean, spacious, and very nicely decorated. Host was responsive, helpful, and friendly . Highly recommend for a larger group !

Great place for a group with a pool table and excellent location with plenty of restaurants and sightseeing. Took one star off for a couple of reasons. The place wasn't ready at check-in and we had to wait around for an additional hour. Also, had requested daily housekeeping after booking and confirmed the additional costs with host before arrival. But when housekeeping didn't show up, host gave us a much higher price which was completely different from what was agreed on earlier. The digital entry lock takes some getting used to as well. Lastly, plenty of stairs which wasn't an issue for us but definitely not for the elderly. Regardless, good place for the price, nice balconies/rooftop with views, and a safe location right across a newly built 5 star hotel. Casco Viejo's Spanish/French colonial architecture is unmatched.

I have stayed at Mauricio’s Place multiple times, and he is an outstanding host. He is always prompt, helpful, and goes above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The place is cozy, well-maintained, and feels like a home away from home. I highly recommend staying here!
