Please note that construction and renovation work on the neighboring property may cause noise at different times of the day.

Pet-Friendly Policy

This house is rented by Habitat Puerto Viejo and welcomes pets under specific conditions. One pet is allowed per stay with advance approval. Please contact us before booking to confirm the pet-friendly policies and ask about the possibility of bringing a second pet.

An additional fee of $35 per pet per stay applies.

Security Deposit

The $300 security deposit hold on your card is not an actual charge. It is a precautionary measure managed through Airbnb in case of property damage. The amount will only be charged if damages occur.

Guest Access and House Rules

We want you to enjoy your stay with family and friends while respecting the house rules and the surrounding residential community.

• Quiet hours are important out of consideration for the neighbors.
• Moderate noise restrictions begin at 8 p.m., in accordance with Costa Rican regulations.
• Failure to follow the rules may result in a $100 fine, which may be applied through the security deposit.
• In serious cases, guests may be asked to leave the property with the assistance of the appropriate authorities.

Pet Guidelines

To help ensure a comfortable stay for everyone, please follow these pet policies:

• Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their pet, including damage to third parties or the property’s furnishings.
• Pets may not climb on beds, couches, hammocks, or other furniture. Please provide your pet with its own sleeping area.
• Pets are not permitted in the swimming pool or pool area.
• If your pet tends to use furniture, please bring your own sheets and towels.
• Guests must clean up after their pets.
• Pets must be kept on a leash when entering or leaving the property.
• Pets may not be left alone at the house.
• Pets may not be bathed in the house bathrooms.
• Property towels may not be used to dry pets.
