Casa del Rai, Perfect Location with Roof top Pool! - Apartments for Rent in San Pedro, Belize

The place was as described and very clean. What stood out was how friendly and helpful the staff on site were. They picked us up from the airport, helped with our luggage, took us back to the airport and did everything they could to make us comfortable. Aileen also recommended a local club who arranged snorkelling and diving for us. And they can rent a golf cart, which I recommend from Aileen rather than one of the many renters on the island, much safer.

Lovely place! Very close to restaurants and right across from the beach and fun places! Loved the view! The host was very nice and friendly to communicate with. I would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay in Belize thanks to Eileen and her team. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and attentive. The property was exactly as described. It was clean, comfortable, and in a great location to enjoy everything Belize has to offer. Eileen and her team truly went above and beyond to make the experience smooth and relaxing, and their hospitality made the trip even more memorable. We really appreciated all of the local recommendations and thoughtful touches throughout our stay. Lovely stay at Aileen's! The staff were super helpful, the apartment was great, the pool and terrace upstairs were really nice for an evening chill, and all over we were very happy with our stay!

My sister and I had a wonderful stay! From the very beginning, communication with the host was clear and easy. They even arranged transportation to pick us up from the water taxi, and gave us a ride back when it was time to leave, such a thoughtful touch! The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful. We felt completely safe during our stay, and the place truly felt like a home away from home. Any time we had a question or needed something, they were just a message away and always quick to respond. They also have golf carts available on the premises, which made getting around super convenient. Overall, it was an amazing experience! 100/100 would recommend and would absolutely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa del Rei! The location was perfect for our family of 4. We were able to walk to a bakery and a supermarket, and then rented a golf cart to drive up and down the island for a few days. Secret Beach is a must! We stayed for the sunset one night, but beware! As soon as the sun sets, the mosquitoes come out like crazy! Get ready to run to your golf cart and drive out quick! Our hosts were super available and responsive. They even arranged a taxi to pick us up at the airport and take us to the ferry in Belize city and then picked us up at the ferry in San Pedro and took us straight to the Airbnb. They took the time to explain everything in the apartment and were always available whenever we needed them. The rooftop pool was great. There was such a wonderful breeze on the top of the hotel! The space was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. I definitely recommend staying here! The staff does an amazing job creating an excellent experience!

Aileen’s place was central to San Pedro. I visited family and it was convenient for us. Local stores and restaurants were at walking distance. Darwin was available and fast when requesting items for the Airbnb. Friendly and helpful staff.

I highly recommend this place. All of the other comments are true. The host are very accommodating from arranging transportation to the airport to helping you book their golf carts and the excursions. I would just recommend brining cash (usd or Belize) to help get better deals on tickets. The rooftop pool was very relaxing and the location is a great spot for many of the best restaurants. Everyone was very friendly and we are definitely booking here again on our next visit to San Pedro.

Aileen was easy to communicate with and the apartment was in a very walkable, bustling part of San Pedro, if that's what you're looking for! The rooftop space was great. The apartment itself was fine - a clean and modest 2 bedroom. Washer and dryer were advertised, but turns out they are not actually accessible to guests. But you can pay $10/load to have it done for you. I wish that had been advertised more accurately as that was important to us.

great location the heart of town.  Amazing view of the water from the deck and the rooftop.   The personal touch of staff coming to greet us upon our arrival was very impressive.  The host had great communication and provided amazing assistance with booking transportation and recommendation of things to do.  I can't want to go back!

We had the most amazing stay -the gentleman checking us in, the women who cleaned the space and the women who organized tours went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing trip. The photos don’t do justice of the view we had from the rooftop pool. Would definitely rent a golf cart direct from Airbnb - made life very easy.

Aileen’s place was great! The place was spacious and clean with clean linens. The rooftop pool was awesome and had pool toys and floats for adults and kids. The best deal was definitely Aileen and what they provided. They had a person for booking excursions on site that came to us in the unit. We booked a private boat tour through them. They also have their own golf carts and parking so we used them the entire time. We were given recommendations for food, boutiques everything we asked was met to highest expectations. We debated between resort and Aileen’s place and realize most beaches you can’t swim right into even the resorts are more docks so we chose to be in the town with the locals and eating what the locals eat and Aileen’s spot was perfect for that. And they know all the spots to go and were so friendly. We stayed with 2 kids and husband and my kids were welcomed and entertained bc they have several turtles too. All in all I highly recommend staying here!

Eileen and Randy have nailed it! From the most amazingly communication to amenities provided to the dream accommodation and location, what more could you ever want?! They have everything covered so you will want for nothing! They have a friendly team available 24/7 if you do have any questions, And they are able to be found if you want to say hi but they don’t helicopter over you either. They have a team you can organize your tours with, golf carts available for rent, and a binder full of information about the property and the surrounding area. They were so kind because my guest list went from 1 to 3 to 4 and they never minded! It also is inspiring to see how much they are loving life and loving what they do! If I know anybody going to Belize, I will make sure they stay with them! And I will only stay with them when I go back! Can’t recommend enough!

My family and I loved Aileen’s place. The room was clean and just as described. We were worried about carrying our luggage up the 5 flights of stairs, but Darwin did all the hard work for us. (The stairs weren’t that bad anyway.) She had golf carts ready to rented on site (so convenient). The AC units worked great and my kids loved the rooftop pool!

Our family of 6 stayed a week, and absolutely loved our stay. The views from the rooftop were stunning especially the sunrise and sunset. We all loved the rooftop pool. The location was perfect and walkable to many restaurant and shops. Aileen and Randy are wonderful hosts and provided great recommendations for restaurants. Aileen was very communicative and great at answering any questions I had. The staff are amazing- we had the most contact with Darwin and Leticia and they are absolutely wonderful. We were well taken care of from having all transportation arranged for us to setting up excursions with Karen. An added plus is that golf carts are right on the property and available to rent. Aileen was the best host a guest could ask for. Her staff is friendly and very helpful. Pick up and drop off at the airport was as effortless as imaginable. The golf carts she has on site for rental were some of the nicest on the island and a great value. The rooftop pool, shower, bathroom and kitchen/bar area was a fun added bonus and impeccably maintained. Been coming to San Pedro for two decades and probably the best value available. Great value.  Staff were very friendly and helpful, with cleaning every other day and always available to help organize excursions or answer questions.  The location is great and its easily walkable to some super fab restaurants nearby.  Roadside Deli is a few doors down and delicious - slow because its cooked to order, but Vermil the owner makes amazing food and accommodates any food preferences.

Nice place to stay for a few nights. Lovely view from the rooftop pool and walkable to just about anything you could want. The staff were very helpful. Some road noise due to being on a busy street.

This is one of the best AirBNB places we have stayed at. The hosts and property manager were extremely helpful, friendly and responsive to our needs. It was absolutely beautiful. We could see the Caribbean and lagoon from our patios. It was close to town but not in town so was peaceful but yet easily walkable to downtown. Will definitely stay here again if we return to Belize!!!

Aileen, Randy, Darwin and Leticia we all amazing! Darwin made sure we were greeted at the local airport even when we were moved to an earlier flight last minute. Very communicative over the app!! They picked us up with no issue and brought us to the Airbnb for check in (cold beers waiting). The staff there truly treats you like a part of the family. They provided great food and excursion recommendations! Darwin even arranged to drop us off early on days when we booked excursions. I would highly recommend visiting here! Rent your golf cart here because I hit a bump and got a flat tire and they came to pick us up at Tranquility beach an hour and a half north! Our suite was the perfect size for 2 guests and we had the best 360 view from the rooftop with pool access. Great spot right in the middle of town! Wonderful views from the roof. Had everything we needed! Only downside was how loud it was, you could hear every single noise from the street; otherwise it was perfect.

Loved staying here. The host and everyone we encountered were so nice and helpful. We had such a great time and hope to come back and stay here again. Highly recommend. Walkable to almost everything and when not they have golf carts and people who help you get around. So helpful in getting us when we arrived and had to leave.

Apartment was clean and had the amenities we  needed. Aileen was very responsive any time I reached out and was great about setting up transportation for us to get from airport to water taxi and from water taxi to apartment.  Apartment is centralized and walking distance to many bars and restaurants!

Aileen and her staff was exceptionally accommodating. It was reassuring knowing that Aileen and her staff were so responsive.  My family and I had a very unexpected journey that delayed some of the family arriving the same day as planned. Aileen and her staff made several pick up and drop off’s to make sure we arrived at Casa del Rai safely. One of the rooms I slept in was located on the street side which caused it to be a little noisy. But ear plugs fixed that right away and I slept comfortably. My family and I definitely will be staying here again.

Everything was perfect the host was amazing

Despite getting to San Pedro during a national emergency, the threat of a hurricane, we felt very safe. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Prior to our stay, our host Aileen was very helpful in keeping us updated. Not only did Aileen keep us informed, she took care to have her staff help coordinate our transportation. We would definitely recommend Aileen's place to our friends and family.

The only thing missing for me, and I know I'm probably in the minority, I love to cook. A skillet or pan would be good for anyone that likes to cook while on vacation. I know not many people like to when traveling, I am definitely in the minority. I stayed at Alaia last time around. It was very nice. I would rather stay at Casa del Rai, because I enjoy having a kitchen. Plus, it's right in front of Wayo's and just down the way is Palapa's. We walked to Palapa's Saturday night to see the greatest band on Ambergris Caye, Coconut Trio. Aileen was simply fabulous!  Very responsive and very helpful.

I cannot recommend Aileen's place enough! From picking my group up from the airport to giving us a thorough tour of the property, this was one of the best Airbnb experiences I've had. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. It had a beautiful porch to watch the sunrise, and a rooftop pool with tiki bar was a fabulous bonus. It was also nice that the building had a locked gate for safety. I will definitely stay here again!

Aileens place was wonderful!  The people who run casa del rai is what puts it over the top.  They helped out before even asking- set up our taxi from the airport and shuttle to room- they even helped us with recommendations of where to eat and even the doctor to use when our 3 year old caught a bug! The room was awesome and the view and location were unbeatable. In a location that felt extremely safe and within a 2 minute walk of many restaraunts and bars and the beach! Just book it I promise you won't be dissapointed!

Our only regret is that we didn’t stay at Aileen’s place longer! The apartment was a perfect home base for our time in San Pedro. You could see the ocean from our apartment. The pool area on the roof was a beautiful spot to hang out and catch the sunset. Aileen and her time were so, so nice. Don’t think twice in booking your stay here! It’s amazing!

Aileen and her husband were absolutely fantastic hosts, even managing to pick us up from the port despite some very late communication from my side. They were also extremely helpful in providing recommendations & contacts for things to do and see on the island. The place itself was exactly as described (probably even better) and in a perfect location. Couldn’t recommend either the AirBnB or the hosts more highly.

A great couple of nights here at Aileens place. Very comfy beds and great shower. Lovely view out to the sea Little bakers across the road for breakfast/lunch and a small supermarket. Perfect spot for our first stop in Belize. The staff were amazing.

We really loved Aileen's place. The whole place was lovely and convenient. We liked having an outside patio and table to drink our coffee in the morning. The rooftop patio had a beautiful view and the pool was great. Aileen was so helpful and easy to keep in contact with. Our plane was late and it was super easy to keep her updated so our pickup from the airport wasn't sitting waiting too long for us. We definitely recommend and would come back in a heartbeat.

Aileen & her crew were top notch all the way. They picked us up from the airport despite us catching an earlier flight, and the property is gorgeous. The rooftop pool & lounge area was a must-do after a busy morning of scuba diving, and there are lots of areas to pick up things like groceries. Karen helped coordinate excursions, including a wonderful trip to the Mayan ruins of Altun Ha. Pablo is the maintenance guy, and is on top of everything! They rent golf carts, which I'd recommend. The reader should know, however, that it's cash only, so bring cash with you to save a trip to the ATM. The only drawback to the property is that the road is noisy. There is quite a bit of construction to the north of the island, so every morning one can hear dump trucks and other construction vehicles passing by. This is obviously beyond the control of the property crew, and I imagine it's the same for other properties as well. Would DEFINITELY recommend!

We had a great stay at small boutique hotel Casa del Rai. We picked the hotel for its central location - it’s 10 minutes north of the airport with many walkable bars and restaurants. The host and staff were friendly and very responsive, especially Pablo. Our room was clean, the a/c was cold, it had wifi, and was a good price for a 2 bedroom, with a kitchen and drinking water included. Due to the central location, you can expect some street noise and barking dogs. The rooftop has great views and a refreshing pool for those hot, hot days. We conveniently rented a golf cart on site when we arrived and they provided airport transfer as well as allowed us to check in early. We would go back!

This place exceeded expectations. The host was extremely helpful with coordinating our travel from the airport to the island. She was also very responsive, kind and patient with my many questions. I liked this place because of how integrated we felt with the locals. I tend to prefer that type of vibe over resorts or super touristy areas. It gave us a unique and authentic experience. It's also nestled next to plenty of beach bars, restaurants, marts, and bakeries. And getting around is very easy. We got the hang of it in 5 minutes. Very good experience. Highly recommend!

This is a great place to stay in San Pedro! Far enough away from the main drag to be quiet, but close enough you can join in on the fun. Great little spots a block or two away to grab local lunch/dinner (Yoli's!) or breakfast (Casa Pan Dulce) or hang at the bars with live music (Wayos/Hurricanes/Sandy Toes/etc.). Easy golf cart rental right there on site made it easy to get to the south end of the island as well as to Secret Beach & the Truck Stop without having to have a cart all week or plan super far in advance; it was nice to be spontaneous and go what we wanted. Byron & Leticia were wonderful caretakers and made our stay easy. Palapa bar & pool on the roof is such a bonus. Perfect location, great amenities, gracious hosts. We'll be back!

Location in a key area of San Pedro. Easy to walk to street vendors and parts of the beach. Very responsive host, who made it easy to communicate. On-site management was great. Appreciated the ease of being able to rent a golf cart directly on site. Appreciated the gate to help with security!

Just returned from a 5 night stay at Casa Del Rai and wow, just wow!! Our two bedroom suite was absolutely perfect. Location is right in town and within walking distance of great restaurants. The rooftop pool/palapa/outdoor space was beyond incredible!!! You have the best views. We rented a golf cart through them as well and it was one of the best rental carts we’ve had ~ price was great too! The host, Aileen, greeted us after she sent someone to pick us up at the airport. Aileen and Randy were the nicest and friendliest hosts ~ very responsive prior to our arrival too. There’s even a pet turtle on property who we became very fond of!! This was our 6th trip to San Pedro and Casa Del Rai has to be one of the best places we’ve stayed. Without question, we would book here again ~ that rooftop pool is just hard to beat!!

From the moment we arrived until the moment we departed we loved our time at Casa del Rai. The hosts accommodated our late arrival due to flight delays, picking us up hours after we were scheduled to arrive, and ensuring that we were situated in our lodgings. We were in constant contact the entire time. Over the next five or so days we had nothing but positive encounters with the team. Randy, Byron, Laititia and Karen worked with us on everything from food recommendations, cleaning/laundry, tours and golf cart rentals. A couple of keys: 1. The location is perfect. We drove into San Pedro for dinners and errands, but we were very close to the bridge getting us out of town and on our way to Secret Beach (20-30 min). 2. Rent a golf cart for the duration of your stay. It makes everything so much easier AND it's a lot of fun. 3. The rooftop pool was amazing; we swam almost every night. If you are concerned with sargassum see 1 and 2 above. We cannot wait to return.

This place is absolutely wonderful!  It was our first time in Belize, the hosts arranged airport pick up for us to the water taxi, and once we arrived on San Pedro they picked us up and gave us a ride to apartment. The apartment is better than pictures show. The rooftop patio/pool area was amazing. Super clean, well kept and the staff are a delight.  We had an amazing stay and will return!

Casa de Rai was simply amazing! Karen helped us book some amazing trips, we went snorkeling 1 day and cave tubing and zip lining another. Byron was always helpful and a genuinely wonderful person to talk with, fantastic suggestions for things to do and restaurants to eat at. Leticia did a great job keeping our room clean and stocked with fresh towels. Aileen and her husband were friendly and great to talk with. I would definitely recommend and stay here again myself!

We had a great month at Casa Del Rai. We loved the location b/c it is not in the “tourist zone” but is easily walkable to all that downtown San Pedro offers. They rent their own golf carts on site, so it was easy to arrange every time we wanted a vehicle. The apartments are clean and well maintained by a great staff (shout out to Byron & Leticia!) During our stay, the hosts were dealing with plumbing/water leaks and they were gracious to move us to a different apartment, then the second space needed the same work but again, the hosts stepped up to let us use the golf carts to get away while the work was being done! They made sure the work was completed in a timely and safe manner. Difficult situation handled well. The rooftop pool is a stunner with 360 views, beds are really comfortable, and each apartment has 2 great outdoor spaces to sit & enjoy sunrise/sunsets. Definitely recommend Casa Del Rai.

Loved staying at Aileen's place in San Pedro! She greeted us on arrival and provided anything we needed for a comfortable stay. The whole Casa del Rai staff was friendly and accommodating. Best price we found for a golf cart and drinking water provided in the Airbnb!

This place is in a great location. The rooms are beautiful. Beds comfortable. It’s clean. All the odds and ends you could need. Rooftop pool is SUPURB! The hosts are kind and generous, and even included our drunk asses in their sing along party. Their staff are also incredibly kind and accommodating. Close to everything. Get the whole fish from the little shop by the dentist a few blocks up the street! We will be back!

There's a reason why this location has so many great reviews. Did not disappoint! The care, friendliness, communication and effort by all the staff made this stay even more enjoyable and effortless. Frm being picked up at the airport and a tour through town, pointing out key interests. Arriving at location, meet and greet. We got settled in and then the staff where more then happy to answer and questions we had. Booklets with recommendations are also avb in the suite. The suite was very spacious, clean and inviting with cool refreshments in the fridge 😉. Beds where large and comfortable. Didn't hear and dogs or alot of road noise but each stay can be different. The pool up top is a great lounge area to chill or share stories with other guests. Secured gate out front gives you a good feel of security. The unit is close to many great establishments. Rosie's was right next door and where I would eat breakfast daily . We rented a cart that was priced very reasonable. This made it easy to explore at a chilled pace . we crossed the bridge and headed out towards ( Tipsy Lobster, Truck Stop and Secret Beach) you will not be disappointed. I've read sooo many reviews and looked at countless properties. Stay here ! Thank you once again Aileen for sharing ur beautiful dream with us and staff. Nice accommodations, pool, and assistance with our needs.

This place was in a good location walking distance to everything. They also have golf carts you can rent and transport from the airport to water taxi and water taxi to BNB. Her place was clean and everyone was super nice! My only complaint is if you are a light sleeper do not sleep in the room closest to the road. Lots of barking dogs and people out late and up early it didn't bug me but you could definitely hear it. We would stay here again if we found ourselves in San Pedro again.

Our stay was wonderful! Great location and you cannot beat the views from the rooftop pool! We were picked up and warmly welcomed from the moment we got off our water taxi. Byron and Leticia helped us with everything from golf cart rentals to food and outing recommendations. The place was clean, cool and just what we needed. Highly recommend this stay!

Perfect location. Amazing views. Not right downtown but a very short walk, great place to experience the San Pedro life style. Rooftop pool is the perfect touch. Onsite staff incredibly helpful and friendly. Really can't say enough good things!

Everything was great! Although we were within walking distance to the beach we noticed a stinchy smell within the area. I'm sure the host had no control and I'm not sure if this was due to the time of season but as frequent travelers we've never noticed that type of ocean smell in other areas of the world.

This Airbnb is amazing as far as location and cleanliness. The rooftop pool is so cool we did spent a lot of time up there relaxing 😎. You can see the sunsets and sunrise from both side of the Island. Staff very curtious to our needs amazing. We will be back better than any resort hotel!!

Aileen is an incredible host! She was such a huge help before the trip with very timely communication, and even during the trip, she had amazing recommendations! The Casa del Rai is in the perfect spot for most things in San Pedro and the golf carts on site are a huge plus. We hope to be back soon!

Great little apt setting! The place is well maintained and cared for. Aileen, Randy and the staff are very accommodating and easy to get ahold of prior/during our stay. They picked us up from the ferry and dropped us off at the airport, which was very appreciated. You can most certainly get a golf cart, especially if you want to go south of the airport or north over the bridge. But alot of things are walkable from here which is what we did. The only (slight) drawbacks, which others have mentioned, would be the water pressure and the road noise. However, they were minor for us and wouldn’t keep us from staying here again, or recommending this place to anybody.

The property is in great condition and it was always easy to ask questions or get help while on site. The location is very good within the greater context of the town, but the street noise at night is definitely something that isn't ideal. The kitchen was nice, the roof offered expansive views (though the pool was on the cold side), and the golf cart rental was easy and affordable. Overall a solid place to stay.

Great location in the city, was an excellent experience. They offered airport pickup/drop off and cleaning services for the stay. Also had golf cart rentals and other excursions available that was a great treat. I wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Ms. Aileen and Mr. Randy were excellent hosts.  Answered so many of our questions about the area and things to do.  They have golf cart rentals on site as well as being able to get you scheduled for some amazing excursions.  The roof top pool was such an added bonus. I highly recommend!!! Thank you again.

The location was awesome and the caretakers were very kind. Didn’t love how staff came into the unit as they pleased, nor did we love how they sanded, painted and stained our unit (outside) during our stay. The smells were awful from the materials they used. Honestly, we felt a little nickel and dimed, 1 load laundry being $10 etc. But overall the experience was nice. Will return to Belize again.

Thanks for choosing to stay with us for your vacation. We apologize for the inconvenience of our workers doing maintenance, however, we do need to keep on top of things so that they do not deteriorate. We have no hidden fees with our guests and we do our best to go above and beyond. Yes, laundry is an additional service that we provide for our guest's convenience if they choose. Our staff does do housekeeping, changing of towels, linens, etc, and with new policies due to Covid, this has to be provided when the guests are not in the room. Aileen and her daughter were phenomenal hosts. They helped us book accommodations as well as answer all other questions and requests we had. They were support friendly and genuinely cared about the experience of the guests. I would highly recommend this place to anyone going to San Pedro!!

Aileen and Randy are the best hosts. They immediately made us feel welcomed and part of their family. Their hospitality, kindness, and generosity is second to none. I’ve stayed in some AirBNB’s on 4 different continents and these guys only want to prove their passion for hospitality! Felt more like visiting with family or old friend. I spent a total of 2 weeks and their place felt like home!

Great location.  Always love staying in town of san pedro.  Love the rooftop pool with a great 360 degree view of the whole town.

Great location, roof top pool and deck is a great place to hang out and watch amazing sunsets. Accommodations are very spacious and well stocked. The hosts are super great people. We highly recommend.
