we had an amazing time

Our stay over Christmas was amazing. So much wildlife to be seen just from the front porch. Scarlet Macaws flew by daily. The place is perched up on the hillside and gives great views and also feels private. The iguana who visits the pool is a treat also. Our first night we were wiped out from our day of travel and Johan offered to order pizza for us and had it delivered. We had also booked a fishing trip and realized we did not have a sun shirt for one of our party and again Johan had a great recommendation for affordable clothing. We would 100% recommend staying here.

This is our second time staying at this house, love the location because have great views, very private and you can feel right at home, however you definitely need 4wd vehicle to access, especially if is rainy season, Johan is excellent host, was raining and we had some problems with flooding, called Him and immediately went to the house to check the situation, next day send a plumber to fix it and sent the cleaning lady to clean the house as well, everything went back to normal after that and we definitely enjoyed the rest of our trip, Thanks Johan for make sure we had a wonderful visit to your house, definitely will stay here next time we visit.

Fantastic location, amazing views! Agree with other reviews; recommend having a 4x4 for those steep hills and sharp turns. If you're a confident driver (Good Driver), you'll be fine. Conveniently close to nearby restaurants. Bug spray is essential, if you plan to chill in or by the pool during the day and especially at night. There's an adorable iguana by the pool—we named him Julio! Would highly recommend!

We loved this house! It was our first stop in Costa Rica! It’s 10 minutes from Manuel Antonio Beach! House is almost at the top of the hill. Kids love the pool with iguana’s to see every morning. Beautiful Master bedroom view! And the second bedroom was also prestige. Private parking! House well equipped! Amazing beach view! You can make it on a 4x2 w/good traction.

We loved our stay- beds were cozy, A/C was cold, kitchen was well equipped and the view is amazing. You must have 4-wheel drive to get up to this house. We didn’t see any monkeys or mccaws like others did but there were lots in town. Only thing missing from the listed amenities was shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Plan on bringing these! Pura Vida.

Villa was in a beautiful location very steep 4x4 is necessary. We saw monkeys, toucans, macaws and enjoyed a beautiful landscape. The home had everything we needed, we had an issue one of the nights that was resolved immediately due to climate out of anyone’s control. Our kids loved all the wildlife while swimming as well.

This Airbnb was absolutely stunning. The pictures barely do the view justice! Johan was extremely responsive and extremely generous with his recommendations. Every detail of the house was high-end — wonderful kitchen appliances, beautiful furniture, amazing touches all around. We loved our time here.

Nos quedamos una semana, nos sentimos como en casa. Johan fué super atento en todo momento. La casa lo tiene todo. Yo trabajaba y fué excepcional poder ver el mar de fondo. Para aquellos que tengan que teletrabajar es ideal. Las vistas son mejores en vivo que en las fotos, y los atardeceres… increíbles. Y con barbacoa by the pool ❤️ Nosotros íbamos con un SUV 4x2 y si bien la cuesta del final es empinada, la subimos sin problemas. En resumen, un 10.

Can not say enough about how helpful and responsive the host was. The property was beautiful as well
