The space Casa Sabura is a charming Balinese style house decorated with handcrafted furniture from Africa, Asia and Costa Rica. It is situated only 1km from Playa Avellanas, one of the best surfing beaches in Costa Rica. This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house features a private pool, a wraparound deck and outdoor lounging areas in a lush jungle setting. Casa Sabura is custom built with floor to ceiling windows surrounding the house. The master bedroom features a king size bed, the second upstairs bedroom has two twin beds. Each room has a sliding door which leads to the wraparound deck. Both rooms are equipped with their own independent A/C units. The third bedroom, located on the ground floor, features a queen size bed and is adjacent to the second bathroom with a shower. The surrounding property creates a lush, tropical ambience and connection with nature. Enjoy your morning coffee while monkeys climb from tree to tree and parrots fly overhead. You can also make arrangements for surfing and yoga lessons, in house massages and private chefs. Although Casa Sabura is situated in a fairly secluded environment, it is still close to several restaurants including Lola’s, one of the most famous in Costa Rica. The town of Tamarindo is only a 25 minute drive away, making it easy to stock up on supplies and spend time in a more touristy area if you wish. Your time at Casa Sabura will be an experience to remember forever. Pura Vida (You will hear this expression throughout your time in Costa Rica. Simply translated it means “pure or simple life”. But here in Costa Rica, it is more than just a saying. It’s an emotion, it’s an attitude, it’s happiness and it’s a way of life.) Other things to note Please note that along with the monkeys and iguanas that frequent the property, there is also an abundance of other wildlife that may include snakes, spiders, scorpions, ants etc.. Although relatively harmless, we have had guests express issues with seeing some of these on the property. If this is an issue for you, we highly recommend that you do not book Casa Sabura and would suggest that Costa Rica may not be the best location for your vacation. We prefer to have Sabura left in its most organic state and will not be accepting cancellations or offering refunds for encounters with Costa Rica's natural inhabitants. Many of our guests come to Sabura for the experience of seeing all of these wonderful creatures in their natural environment. Although the house is located in a safe area, it is always advisable to ensure that any valuables are kept locked away and out of sight. There is a safe provided for these items. We would also recommend renting an SUV to access the house, especially in the rainy season, as the roads can become a bit washed out in bad weather.
