Amazing host and a great home! The only suggestion I would make is to clarify in the listing that the electricity bill will be charged separately. For just three days, we were billed $169 for electricity—even though we were only at the home during the day and night. A bit more transparency up front would help guests better understand the total cost. OTHER THEN THAT 5 STAR!! GREAT HOME TO STAY WITH YOUR FAMILY.

Hi Hector, as clearly detailed and stated in house rules, 30 kWh of electricity is included per night. Upon your check in, a picture of the electricity meter reading was sent to you and same thing happened when you checked out, after doing the calculation, you consumed more KWh than what comes included per night. As a host I don’t have control if a guest leaves the AC and lights on when you leave the house, that’s completely out of my control. Hope this clarifies your comment. Welcome back anytime!

The home is even nicer than it appears online. It really was magnificent. The housekeeper Santos was amazing as we had her prepare breakfast every day (extra fee). We had a great time hanging out at the pool in the evenings.

The area that Marios place is one of the best in the city. Close to shops restaurants and even Walmart if something is needed. I live in the United States, I’ve rented a lot of Airbnbs and high quality ones. By far this one is the best regarding space and design. We went to Nicaragua to bury our brother. And I rented this house to get everyone’s mind off of the bad situation. This house turned it around for all of us. It was a beautiful experience. Mario was always calling and texting to make sure he accommodated everything I needed. House keeper, Dona santos TOP NOTCH. That women is like family to us now. The gardener Martin, amazing, he is family as well. Our family has decided to always rent this home when going to visit our family there. We are glad we found it.

This was my first time back in my country after nearly 18 years and I couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. My family wants to come back and stay here again. You feel extremely safe. It is absolutely gorgeous and plenty of space for a large family, so much so that we didn’t even use all the spaces in the home. Santo was so sweet and helpful. The outside is full of greenery and beautiful trees and you get a much needed nice breeze in the hot Managua weather. The pool area is spectacular and offers many areas for family to hang out. House was very clean and well maintained. The ACs as we found out are very important in Managua and this home has functional and strong ACs and fans. We did go over the electricity a bit but we’re aware of the limitations from the listing. Overall, beautiful and peaceful property and Mario himself greeted us even though our flight was delayed.

First, the house, better than the pictures, lots of space for the entire family to gather and enjoy some quiet time. It is well-equipped to do everything you need- relax, enjoy nature, exercise, swim, work. We enjoyed the pool and outside area, spent lots of time swimming, reading and relaxing outside. The patio is so green and well-taken care of. Then there is the staff- so friendly and so helpful. The first day we did not know where to go shopping, they went for us! We had them make breakfast everyday- a delicious way to truly enjoy your vacation. The house was clean and well-taken care of every day. And last, Mario is an incredible host! He was there to receive us and say goodbye, extremely helpful and responsive. We had an amazing time and will come back as soon as I can! Thank you!

I was fortunate to stay at Mario’s Villa on our way back from a surf trip in northern Nicaragua. This was a super luxurious experience with extremely well thought out details. Mario was a phenomenal host and we took advantage of the home cooked meals and help getting to the airport. Overall this was a great value and very relaxing way to end our trip. If I’m back in Nicaragua I’ll be back here for sure.

Pictures do no justice! This home was beyond our expectations, my family and I loved it and can’t wait to get back. The home is located in a very secured location, we felt comfortable and unworried since there was always someone there. Additionally, the home’s location and/or altitude provides a nice breeze throughout, day & night. Once at the house, as you enter, the wide swivel door, the indoor/outdoor rooms, pool and patio area, it was all beautifully done and enjoyed. Mario met us and provided a one on one tour of his lovely home. The staff was so courteous, attentive and friendly. Ms. Santos is such a sweet lady, was always available for any questions and/or assistance, she even had us try some of Mario’s coffee, was so delicious that we brought some back home.

WOW!!! I don't have words to describe Mario's beautiful home. It will leave you speechless. It's perfect. I had booked it for one night since we weren't sure how long we were staying in Managua but as soon as we walked in, my group and I decided to extend our stay in Managua. I messaged Mario right away to ask him to send me a change on my booking for 2 more nights. Unfortunately, it was book for the following day.  It has all the amenities you can possibly think of. My father-in-law even asked "is this place a resort?" It has 4 very specious rooms all with their own bathrooms plus a guest house. It has a beautiful terrace with a bar and kitchen that I wish our stay was longe to be able to use. It has a separate area for bbq and a hotel style pool and garden. I can't say enough how beautiful and perfect this house is. The staff is super friendly and attentive. They explained all the gadgets of the house. Mario has 24hr security at his front gate although it's in a gated area with another guard. Mario himself had great communication with me from the moment I booked his house. He wanted to meet us personally but we arrived in Managua later than planned. During our stay, he was constantly in touch with me making sure everything was ok. The house is located in an exclusive neighbourhood of Managua. It's about 7-10 minute drive to main shopping mall thats filled with great restaurant and night entertainment. Lot's of fine eating 5 minutes away from the house as well. YOU MUST BOOK THIS HOUSE. It's just simply perfect. I can't think of anything negative to say about the house or Mario. I will 1000% be staying here from now on when visiting Managua. Thanks Mario and the rest of your staff for the great hospitality.

I would like to thank Mario and his staff for amazing Airbnb experience. My stay at Villa Las Palmeras exceeded all of  my expectations. Not only was the home beautiful and well appointed, but Mario's and his staff made sure that all of our needs were met The house and bedrooms remained spotless during our entire stay. The exterior grounds and pool were well maintained. All of the food prepared by the cook was delicious. The Villa is located in a very secure neighborhood with various stores and restaurants within driving distance. I would highly recommend staying at Villas Las Palmeras to anyone considering a trip to Managua,  Nicaragua.

This place was great. Beautiful and with a lot of space. Best thing was the friendly staff and how they have set up to be place for you to be comfortable. Mario the host was very helpful and always made sure we had everything we needed. Recommended!

Don Mario's house is exceptional, it has very luxurious amenities and almost all the time it gives you a feeling that it seems like you are out of Managua. I recommend everyone to visit this place as the price reflected is nothing when you are inside the house.

I booked Mario’s house in a short notice and he was able to help me out. The house is amazing very relaxing, staff were great from start to finish. I will not hesite to reserve his house again. I highly recommend this house.
