Magnificent Villa one block from Playacar beach

I stayed at Emilith's place from December 12-14 with my wife, in-laws, and two daughters (3 and 6). The place was excellent. It is very modern and spacious, with the photos being accurate. It had all the amenities we needed, such as kitchen appliances, beach towels, and even kids' toys. Playacar felt very secure, and the place is a 10-15 minute walk from a little plaza with a pharmacy, coffee shop, and a little taco restaurant and bar with a great craft beer selection! The private path from the house to the beach is handy and gets you on a quiet swimmable section of the beach within 5 minutes. The small pool on the roof was perfect for our young daughters to play in. Emilith and her co-hosts were helpful, and accommodated our request for luggage storage until our airport transport arrived. They were also responsive in giving us updates about the periodic neighbourhood water shutoff, which was the only downside of our visit, but was not an issue under their control!

I hosted my bachelorette party weekend at Louisa's and it was excellent! Loved the amount of bedrooms and bathrooms so all of us could spread out. We're in our 30s and wanted a little space from the party of the city and amenities for everyone. Easy walk into town for those who wanted to, and vans to pick us up for activities had no issue finding the place when we sent GPS pin. Would highly recommend!

We booked this home for close family and friends to stay for my Wife and I's wedding. From the moment we opened the door and entered we were stunned by the size and luxury of the home. The master bedroom especially was out of this world and a perfect honeymoon suite for our stay. Lots and lots of dishes, plates, cups and everything needed for a large party of people. The only downside was the water pressure being quite low. It was manageable.

Great place for 8 friends getting together for a low key bachelor party over a long weekend. Plenty of space for our group including the separate apartment that is part of the property. The host team was highly responsive whenever we had questions (including late evening when we had an issue with the gate code on arrival). They also helped to arrange a chef for dinner one night. Recommend renting a car. Thanks to everyone for a great stay!

Our group of 13 had a wonderful time at this beautiful home in Playcar, which has a main house and an attached apartment. Luisa was very responsive, and the service was excellent. It's about a 15-minute walk to town, and the nearby beach has crystal-clear water and a sandy beach. Luisa provided clear instructions for accessing the house and local recommendations and was responsive. We also used the neighborhood tennis court, community pool, roof pool, and deck at the house. I highly recommend it for groups.

We stayed at Luisa's place with 10 adults and 4 kids. It was perfect!! We loved having the attached apartment (with 2 bedrooms) to give our big family group plenty of space. Upon arrival, we were met by someone who guided us around the house, property, and the trails to the beach and the pool. The space is cooled with in-room cooling units (not central air), which kept the space cool while we were there. We turned them off when we went out, but everything cooled quickly when we returned. On the first day, one of the units went out and was dripping water. Someone came to look at it within 30 minutes and the repair was completed within 12 hours. The beds were gorgeous and comfortable. The big, open gathering space in the main house was big enough for all of us to gather without feeling crowded. Surrounding the house are gorgeous, jungle-y trails including some wild life. The beach is less than a 5 min walk and was absolutely lovely. Great house, great location, great host!
