We absolutely loved this place - it was magical. Very lush, comfortable and we particularly liked the privacy of our own rooms and bathrooms but with the shared space. The hosts were super helpful and responsive. The outdoor area is very spacious and comfortable.

La casa preciosa, espaciosa y cómoda. A unos 15 minutos de Tamarindo y 20-30 minutos de las playas. Los huéspedes súper atentos y cordiales. Nos vamos felices de tan buen servicio. Recomendado :)

Wonderful stay! Very responsive and helpful hosts. Cleaning service mid week was a nice treat. Was a peaceful escape and met our family’s needs perfectly.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was a little far away from tamarindo and the stove doesn’t work great but other than that it was fantastic!

The property is beautiful just like the pictures. We love the outdoor kitchen overlooking the pool. It was a bit hot though on some days but it cooled down with the rain every day. The only suggestion I would make is maybe enclose the outdoor kitchen area but have glass sliding doors to open and close as we wish. And install a little ac unit once it’s enclosed or some strong fans. It does get real hot on some days to eat outside. Or maybe a ac unit inside the indoor kitchen as well. Being from the US, the heat was an adjustment to get used to. The bedrooms were beautiful with great AC. we love our stay and Claire was so helpful and responsive. She really helped our family get to and from the airport to the property and was so helpful with everything and made us feel like we have a local person to help us with anything we needed.

tldr: the property is beautiful and has incredible potential, but the owners should stay there for a month to understand the issues and improve the property quality. We had a lot of small issues while we were there; nothing to ruin the visit, but many things to create discomfort: running out of supplies like salt, olive oil, and trash bags; lack of hot water in a main room, dryer malfunctioning, kitchen door wouldn't open, lack of pool towels, and more. Claire and her husband promptly addressed all these issues and more; but it would have been much more enjoyable to not have these issues. Other things require minor fixes or maintenance: the key situation is unwieldy and overwhelming, the gate doors are complicated and effectively unusable, the walking gate is difficult to open and close (and there is only one key, so you either lock yourself outside or inside), and more. Improvements like adding a/c to the kitchen would be huge, and could really elevate the property experience!

Location and wildlife was amazing. Unfortunately, the appliances had mechanical issues and didn’t function properly, ie the stove didn’t work, dryer was stuck on high heat and didn’t shut off on its own. The grill didn’t have a propane tank. The kitchen had a musty smell. All the doors had some mechanical and locking issues. The electrical issues were that the light switches weren’t working or the light bulbs were burnt out. The property did have hot water, however due to the very low water pressure, it was hard to regulate from hot to cold. Understanding the location, a lot of leaf cutter ants and mosquitoes. Also, the gate wouldn’t open up all the way and is very narrow so it is hard to pull in an SUV, and backing out is a blind spot onto a narrow street. It has potential to be a nice place, but the pictures don’t show the reality of the space as the rooms are very dark even with the lights on and curtains open.

Had a wonderful holiday with our family staying at the house. It was a perfect place to return to after a day at the beach. We loved spending time in the indoor/outdoor living room and cooling off in the pool.

Wow! This Villa is just as beautiful as the pictures. I went down with 7 of my closest friends. Most of us were girls and we felt safe, comfortable and free to roam the Villa anytime of day/night. It truly felt like paradise! It’s a 10-15 minute drive to Tamarindo beach & town. It’s an easy drive and worth it to have a place like this. The house manager was super helpful, kind and close by if we needed him. We had so much fun playing music and night swimming without neighbors bothering us and vise versa. We plan on staying here again! 10/10 recommend

Very beatiful place, awesome garden and poll, with very comfortable rooms, it is so confortable I would easily just stay there for a whole week, you feel isolated from the rest of the world . If you want to go to the beaches, tamarindo is a 10 min ride and avellanas is a 15 min ride. supermarkets are a 5 min ride. Stephane was there for us when we needed. great experience would go again.
