The Space
This completely private home features its own entrance and a secluded patio surrounded by lush landscaping. The bedroom can be arranged with either two twin beds or one king bed, depending on your preference. Inside, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen stocked with pots, pans, and dishes.
Outside, there is a private outdoor shower and a designated area to store your boards. Two bicycles are provided free of charge, allowing you to explore all that Hacienda Iguana has to offer.
The property includes air conditioning and a generator that ensures continuous electricity and Wi-Fi during power outages, so you are always connected.

Joan was super nice and provided us with valuable information. She also organized that my girlfriend could join a kind of semi-private yoga event within the community and even offered to take her to the place. Would definitely stay again. The place offers water, good internet and is quite close to the beach with the bycicle (which was also provided).

Great privacy and yet so accessible to our hosts for excellent suggestions on how to have the BEST time. We especially appreciate the options for wonderful surfing, and sunset views!

We loved this Casita -- it is bright, clean, private, close to the beach and amenities, comfy, and had some nice touches we didn't expect. Joan and John were only around when we needed them and were SUPER FRIENDLY -- Joan even brought over a mini-loaf of sourdough bread she made herself! The value cannot be beat. We only had a short stay as we were passing through, but next time, this will be our go-to stay. The beach is amazing -- the surf fantastic. We cannot say enough how much we enjoyed our stay. And for anyone who might be worried about NICA, this place is super safe and so far off the beaten path -- truly and escape from the rat race. Lovely -- Muchos Gracias Joan!

Our stay at Casita Coronado was so so great! They’re not kidding when they say they are a 3 minute walk to Playa Colorado’s main break! And Panga Drop is only a quick 10 minutes down the beach from there. The Casita fits the bill ~ clean, cozy, private and has everything you need. Joan was so helpful with giving us tips and recommendations for the rest of our trip too. Enjoy paradise guys!

We had an amazing time at the Casita. Joan and John are great hosts and are always available for everything you need. They gave us great local recommendations and their Casita is spacious and cozy. Beach, surf and beach-club are about 3 minutes of an enjoyable walk. I would highly recommend the Casita to anyone. It was very clean and felt really safe to be there. Either if you are on a surf trip on just want to relax, this is a great place for you. I can't wait to go back!

Super recomendamos Casita Coronado ! La respuesta de Joan a nuestra reserva fue casi inmediata (nosotros ya estabamos en Nicaragua cuando la contactamos) La Casita esta ubicada dentro de Hacienda Iguana, un lugar INCREIBLE y super seguro . Es mas linda inclusive de lo que se ve en las fotos !! Solo 3 mins caminando a Playa colorado y Panga Drops (playas mas lindas de la zona y con mejores olas ) 4 mins caminando al Supermarket de la Hacienda y las caminatas son a traves de un bosque alucinante o por la cancha de golf. Ubicacion ideal ! La casita, estaba IMPECABLE cuando llegamos. Tiene entrada individual (Joan y John viven al lado en una hermosa casa ) tiene porta tablas de surf en la entrada del lado de adentro de la casita. Sabanas super confortables y toallas. Todo olia a limpio y se veia organizado. En la cocina esta muy organizada y tiene todo lo basico para poder cocinar, una heladera nueva y enfriando perfecto (necesario los dias de mucho calor) e inclusive habia agua potable para tomar. Cuando llegamos no habia licuadora la cual es fundamental en un lugar con tanta fruta fresca para hacer smoothies o licuado (se les habia roto la anterior) cuando le pedimos prestada una, al dia siguiente nos trajo UNA NUEVA !! Solo wi fi no funcionaba bien, muy lenta (no puede verse una serie) pero creo que es mas un tema de la propia Hacienda, mejoraria el servicio de wi fi pues a veces es muy necesario. Joan una excelente host inclusive nos trajo PAN CASERO hecho por ella misma ! so so sweet ! La experiencia en general fue EXCELENTE, RECOMENDAMOS Casita Coronado! Nicaragua, Hacienda Iguana, Playa Colorado LUGARES SOÑADOS QUE HAY QUE CONOCER !! GRACIAS JOAN & JOHN POR COMPARTIR ESTE PEDACITO DE PARAISO CON NOSOTROS. This place was great for 2. There was ample space. It was quiet, nice and shady and cool... no need to use the AC. It was close to Playa Colorados for ripping surf and then a nice dip in the pool and some great food at the restaurant. Casita Coronado is a really good value. Will definitely return.
