Enamorada! Fue un viaje familiar, pasamos fechas festivas y fue increíble, la atención de doña Xenia y su esposo, es un lugar privado con piscina y acceso a un río limpio y hermoso, sobrepaso las expectativas, con ansias de volver!

This is a beautiful place to stay about 20 minutes away from La Fortuna. The trees and nature surrounding the place is just perfect. We saw lots of different kinds of birds and heard the howler monkeys but never saw them. The pool is perfect and the bedrooms are very spacious with very comfortable beds. Just beware that the bathrooms have open windows so bugs do come in and the kitchen had a lot of bugs flying around too, but that is part of the experience. Gerry and Xenia are very gracious hosts and have two very sweet dogs, Taz and Dago. One more thing to consider if you have children is the rooms are separate from each other so those with little children might not be as comfortable with that setup. Overall a beautiful place to stay…a true Costa Rican experience.

Our family had an amazing stay at La Renardiere and we hope to be back! Xenia and Thierry were wonderful hosts-very welcoming and responsive but never intrusive. They gave us a tour of their beautiful property upon check-in and shared the bounty of their garden with us. They provided many recommendations as requested. Their dogs, Dago & Taz, were so loving and we enjoyed them. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied. It was a perfect place for us and we loved our five nights here. Muchas gracias and merci beaucoup!!

We had a wonderful stay. We felt right at home. In the mornings, we went on tours in the surrounding area, and in the afternoons, we swam in the beautiful pool! Xenia gave us great tips for the area that we never would have found otherwise. In the garden, she showed us delicious fruits and spices! We saw toucans in the garden and poison dart frogs in the river next to it. We were very sad when we had to leave.

Wow what a great time!! We are coming from Las Vegas, stayed 2 nights, this place is magical! Make sure you have a car that can handle off road specially if you are coming from San Jose area. The home is like a ranch style, there is no A/C but you won’t need it. The owners are right next door and always available. The dog Taz is wonderful we miss him already. The owners are so welcoming and beautiful people. We loved everything about this place, the sound of birds waking you up in the morning, the nice aroma of the flowers, the beautiful pool, can’t wait to be back!!!

Our stay was exceptional and one of a kind!I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area or contemplating traveling to Costa Rica. The pictures don’t show how beautiful the land and property truly are. The hosts were so kind and sweet and went above and beyond to accommodate. The pool and river on the property were perfect. If I were to travel back to Costa Rica I would stay here again. I traveled with 2 friends and we had absolutely no complaints. We already miss the dogs and wish we could take them home with us! Book here you won’t regret it.

Wir haben uns sofort in das schöne und sehr liebevoll eingerichtete Haus mit diesem wunderbaren Garten und Pool verliebt. Xenia und Thierry haben uns herzlich mit frischen Früchten empfangen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und sicher als Nachbarn von Xenia gefühlt und wir wollten am liebsten aus diesem Paradies. nicht mehr weg, für uns war alles perfekt und wunderschön! Vielen Dank ihr beiden für alles!

Tolles Haus umgeben von einem wunderschönen Garten und liebenswürdigen Gastgebern und Hunden. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Superbe séjour à La Renardière. Hôtes extraordinaires et très sympathiques. Notre famille a adoré l'hébergement ainsi que la piscine !! Je recommande vivement cet endroit. Merci encore à nos hôtes.

Wow! What a paradise.... this place is a true oasis... a beautiful sanctuary. Eveeyrhing just so lovingly thought about...the pool is just gorgeous...we felt like we were in a dream. I mean it was so nice and so welcome it made it very hard to leave. .. we ditched visitinf Fortuna waterfall which was on our plan to truly savour this home. We are very thankful to our hosts who lovingly bought herbs, fruit and vegetables from the gorgeous garden. Our kids even tried sugar cane! We are thankful for their advice.... it was a truly healing experience. Just sublime. Thank you. Never forgotten.
