Absolutely loved our stay! The house was spotless, with incredible views and a stunning pool that made it feel like a private paradise. The property is spacious and secluded, offering plenty of peace and quiet. The hosts were fantastic friendly, welcoming, and always quick to respond. We felt well taken care of throughout our entire stay. Highly recommend this place and can’t wait to return!

We enjoyed our stay at Lori and Mike's house. We had privacy and it isn't far from Montezuma or Cabuya. We were really grateful for the pool. The road is rough leading into the property but most rural roads in CR are like that. If you're driving in CR you really need a 4W drive anyway. We walked down the hill to Cedros beach and it took about 15 min.

We had a great time in montezuma. Good facilities, nice pool. You‘ll need a 4x4 to get there without any problems.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Los Cedros. Just the right mix of rustic jungle vibes and amenities. The view is amazing and the pool was so refreshing. I recommend getting up early enough to watch the sunrise over the ocean from the pool. Pure magic. Jason, the caretaker was very friendly and helpful but absolutely allowed us our privacy. Lori and Mike were excellent hosts and provided us with all the info we needed logistically as well as loads of recommendations for local restaurants and activities. Montezuma + Cabuya make for a great base camp to explore the region from. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and a local grocery well stocked enough to cook from home if desired. Looking forward to returning!

Our stay at Lori’s and Mike was perfect! The house is comfortable, the view beautiful and the pool a big plus every morning! The patio was a perfect place to have our meals, with a view and the sound of birds and bats! Be sure to have a 4x4 because the road is difficult without it. Thanks again! We had a wonderful time!

The house was cool and the kids loved the pool. There was ample room and the indoor/outdoor aspect was appreciated. We didn't end up using the third bed as it was a box spring without a mattress on top and it was deemed uncomfortable by both children. The host was very responsive and offered lots of suggestions. The road there is definitely intense. We saw a car that didn't have four wheel drive not able to make it up and it was a bit of a challenge for our car, which was a pretty wimpy four wheel drive. It was hot in Costa Rica while we were there. Evening lows on a few nights were 27C and the house didn't cool down until early morning. That, combined with the rooster which often started crowing before 6 am, made a restful night challenging. The living area faces east and gets full sun for most of the morning and doesn't have any curtains. We felt safe but many of the windows had broken latches.

This is a wonderful home. Jason was there to let us in as soon as we arrived. It is hot in Montezuma, no doubt, but with the all windows and big doors open, the breeze comes through beautifully. And of course the pool is beautiful and relaxing. The sunrises are amazing too. This is a wonderful home!
