All bedrooms open to outside, so you must go up outside stairs to access main living area and kitchen. One bedroom has to go outside just to access a bathroom that is attached to one of the other bedrooms so even though we were traveling with all adults it made it awkward. I definitely wouldn’t want to rent with young children with bedrooms that open to outside and pool area. Great views and open living area and attentive staff were the positives.

We had a good stay at this Airbnb in Rancho Santana. Pre-booking communication was strong, and they helped coordinate a rental car and a meal plan through Claudia’s Kitchen. Our cook, Haley, was excellent, dependable, kind, and very accommodating to our family. Most meals were great and delicious, though the beef was a bit tough, and meals were always ready on time. NSR did not communicate to Claudia’s Kitchen that snacks were included in our meal plan, so we did not receive them. We had plenty of food and didn’t miss out, but communication with vendors was inconsistent. The home is about five minutes from the Rancho Santana Inn, clean, and comfortable. Housekeeping came every other day and even did laundry, which was appreciated. There were gate access issues for our chef and rental car due to incorrect info provided to security, causing delays. Layout is a bit unusual with bedrooms downstairs and living spaces upstairs. Pool was well maintained but very cold. Beds were extra firm.

We really enjoyed our stay at the house! You get the best of both worlds! Close enough to enjoy the coffee and restaurants, pool, at the hotel but get to chill at your own house when you want to! The house is incredible! On a hill for Oceanside views and has its own pool! Everything needed was there.  You can even get delivery from the hotel restaurant if needed.  5 stars! I do recommend renting a 4x4 truck though as the hills of Rancho Santana are very steep.

Great place to stay, great for couples. 1 bedroom very spacious, the other 2 bedrooms a little small. Great pool and very good service. The view was stunning.

I think even better than the house/location was the concierge, jose, and carly's help. I will say that the beds could use some kind of padding as they are VERY hard - but I know that's common in central/south america, so it is what it is. I would love to stay here again.

We loved our stay here! This is a really great location within Rancho Santana. Easy walk to the hotel/pool/restaurant, and great ocean & beach views! The only thing that "surprised" us is that the common areas are upstairs as depicted, but all bedrooms are sort of individual "motel" rooms where you access them on the ground floor from the exterior of the structure. This was NO problem for us, and perhaps I missed that in the description somewhere, but I only mention it as if I had little kids still, I might pause thinking that their bedroom doors opened onto the ground floor exterior, just a few steps from the pool. Again, no problem for us, but if you have little kids who are not yet fully water-safe, I'd assess that detail accordingly. All in all, cannot recommend this place enough, we loved being here! We did a ton of off-roading through the property, and enjoyed all the amenities Rancho Santana has to offer.

We loved Rancho Santana! The whole area was beautiful and we will definitely return. The responsiveness of the property management company was incredible. They were there within minutes if we needed anything. The house was beautiful, well stocked, and clean. The view was fantastic and the resort was amazing! We did have two issues with the house that negativity impacted our stay. First, the beds were painfully hard. It was like sleeping on plywood. We actually ended up gathering up anything quilted or fluffy to put under the sheets just so we could survive the week. For that reason alone, I would not book this house again. I've traveled around the world and never struggled with being this miserable trying to sleep. Second, the house didn't have a generator to keep the air-conditioning running when the electricity went off. I didn't realize how much of a problem that would be. We spent at least a few hours a night sweltering because there was no air-conditioning.

Nsr was a pleasure to deal with. The answered the questions I had and got everything set up seamlessly for us. We had a wonderful time and will be back! Thank you

Casa Alegre was an excellent home for our family of 5. What we loved: When you book an NSR managed property, you get a personal concierge. Baldo was very responsive to our many questions before traveling to Nicaragua. Rancho Santa is an amazing property on the Pacific Coast. All the people are extremely nice and helpful. Grounds were beautiful! Pools were beautiful. Casa Alegre, was almost, if not, brand new. We rented the entire property and it comes with both a splash pool that empties into a deeper soaking pool. Both pools over a great view of the Pacific Coast. The 5 Beaches of Rancho Santa are all pleasantly different. The house is easy walking distance the main clubhouse and Playa Santana. Playa Rosada is the next on the shuttle stop. It has a deeper pool, and GREAT views of the sea crashing to the rocks, from comfortable seats. Playa Escandido, is next, and it was breathtaking. In a private cove, you feel like you are the first people to ever see this place. Lots of tidal pools with sea life in them. No Services at this beach save for a bathroom at the top of the hill. The last beach is like a cool, hip, surfer hang out. Great waves and beach, hammocks under the palm trees, and a VERY good restaurant/bar. This was my favorite beach of the trip. What we wished was different: All the beds in this house are very firm. We are more accustomed to softer beds so this was an issue for us. That was the only complaint. Otherwise the place was amazing. A Few Tips: 1. We recommend you fly into Managua and then plan a transfer to Rancho Santana the next day. If you do so, be prepared for 2.5hr drive, some off road. It is perfectly safe, but I wouldn't drive it. 2. If you stay on Rancho Santana but in an NSR managed property, you still have to download the app and register to attend. The events that are listed as free can be anywhere from $1 to $10 for non Rancho Managed house guests. Book your property excursions early, they do fill up at busier times. 3. If you are NOT an accomplished off road driver, DO NOT rent a car. The shuttle is reliable and safe. 4. Do the meal plan. We paid $35 US a day per person for 3 home cooked meals in our house. It was amazing and the food at Rancho restaurants are priced as you would expect at a luxury resort.
