The Space

Situated between lush jungle and the turquoise Caribbean Sea, Villa Coccoloba is located in the private enclave of Tankah. The villa’s open-concept design seamlessly blends multiple outdoor living areas with a comfortable, well-appointed interior. Marble flooring extends throughout the property.

Each room is uniquely decorated with natural stone accents, built-in cabinetry, custom-made furniture, and original local artwork. Floor-to-ceiling windows and patio doors open to breathtaking ocean views and refreshing sea breezes.

Guests can enjoy the oceanfront 6-hole putting green, featuring a relaxing spot called “Crab Alley” ideal for watching sunrises or enjoying afternoon cocktails while putting. At the heart of the property lies a large heated in-ground pool surrounded by a pool deck and tropical gardens.

All bedrooms face the ocean and come equipped with toiletries, quality linens, and both bathroom and beach towels. Air conditioning is provided in each suite and the TV room. Wi-Fi is available throughout the villa.

Entertainment amenities include smart TVs, a portable Bluetooth speaker, and music/TV streaming services. Outdoor comfort is enhanced with padded loungers, bar stools, and hammocks for enjoying the sun, pool, beach, and starry nights.

A housekeeper and groundskeeper are available Monday through Saturday, with service on Sundays if arrival or departure falls on that day. The chef works daily during your stay. These services are included in the nightly rate, while groceries and beverages are an additional cost.

• Talavera tile flooring

Note: The casita is only available as an addition to the main house rental. An extra fee of $80 USD per person applies for groups exceeding 6 adults. Prior arrangement with the host is required. The casita is never rented separately.

About the Area

Tankah is a private community featuring residences, boutique hotels, and small restaurants. It shares the relaxed atmosphere of nearby Tulum and is surrounded by abundant wildlife. Visitors can explore vibrant jungle ecosystems and witness the Caribbean waves breaking on an ancient reef, which serves as a nesting site for hundreds of sea turtles each summer.

Guest Access

Guests have full access to the main house, pool, outdoor spaces, and garage.

Additional Information

The chef, housekeeper, and groundskeeper work Monday through Saturday, with service on Sundays only if your arrival or departure falls on that day. All staff live off-site.
