Casa Marina is located inside Las Brisas at Hacienda Pinilla, an exclusive Hacienda-style resort surrounded by Costa Rica’s incomparable biodiversity. Guests can choose from four nearby beaches: Avellanas, Mansita, Bonita, and Langosta.

The Beach Club

The beach club features an excellent restaurant, pool, gym, and playground. Guests can enjoy surfing, relaxing by the pool, or watching fabulous sunsets.

As a guest at Casa Marina, you will pay a $5 daily fee (starting January 2025); children 10 years old and below are free. Please note that the beach club will be under maintenance from October 5-18, 2026.

Surfing

Playa Avellanas, home of the beach club, has six world-class surf breaks, including Little Hawaii, the Estero, Dead Tree, and Lola’s.

The Golf Course

The 18-hole par 72 beachfront golf course offers stunning sunset views from a secluded beach.

The JW Marriott Hotel

As a guest at Casa Marina, you will have access to the JW Marriott Hotel's numerous restaurants. You can also purchase a day pass for access to all of the hotel's grounds and amenities. Playa Mansita and Bonita, near the JW Marriott Hotel, offer great tide pools during low tides.

The Tennis Courts

There are two hard court tennis courts with an onsite instructor, Sylvain. Private, semi-private, and group lessons are available, along with regular kids' camps and pickleball events.

The Mountain Bike Trails

With over 45 kilometers of trails throughout the ranch, forest, and coastline, Hacienda Pinilla is an excellent location for mountain biking. The trails offer natural scenic routes and rigorous paths suitable for every type of rider, providing adventure, challenge, and enjoyment for families, first-timers, and experts.
