The Space
Welcome to Arcoiris y Sonrisa (Rainbow and Smiles), your Costa Rican retreat. This luxury home features three bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, and offers stunning views of both the ocean and surrounding mountains. Enjoy the refreshing mountain breezes while listening to the sounds of howler monkeys, scarlet macaws, toucans, and other wildlife inhabiting the nearby forest.
Located within a secure gated community, this property provides an ideal getaway in Ojochal. Casa Arcoiris y Sonrisa is a private residence with no shared areas, granting guests exclusive access to the entire home and the swimming pool.
The open floor plan connects the kitchen, private pool and patio, and the comfortable living room, allowing you to keep windows and large sliding glass doors open to enjoy the constant mountain breezes and jungle sounds. Each bedroom and the living room are equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fans to keep you comfortable. During the rainy season, a large covered private carport ensures your vehicle stays dry.
Guest Access
Guests have unrestricted 24-hour access to the home within the gated community. Prior to arrival, guests must provide a phone number to receive a text message from the homeowners association containing a QR code for entry into the gated development.
Bedrooms
- Suite #1: Spacious bedroom with direct access to the private swimming pool, Smart TV, beautiful bathroom, walk-in closet, ceiling fan, and air conditioning.
- Suite #2: Features a king-size bed, private bathroom, ceiling fan, and air conditioning.
- Suite #3: Includes a queen-size bed, private bathroom, ceiling fan, and air conditioning.
A pack-n-play crib is available for rent at an additional cost of $50 USD plus VAT. Please request this at least 48 hours in advance.

We hebben hier een geweldige tijd gehad. Vooral het uitzicht was schitterend. En het huis was zeer comfortabel en schoon met een heerlijk zwembad.

La casa tal y como se describe, no hay vista al mar porque los árboles han crecido pero es comprensible. Se necesita un carro 4x4 porque la carretera es de lastre y con algunos huecos hasta llegar a la casa pero se llega. Encontrarán un mini super para cosas rápidas pero si necesitan algo mas han un supermercado en donde se consigue de todo, una buena cafetería y panaderías, farmacia Tuvimos un problema pero la comunicación con la encargada fue buena, siempre atenta, al final lo resolvieron.

Super séjour! Grande villa très belle et propre. Elle est situé en haut d’une montagne et le chemin pour si rendre est non pavé. Il faut compter un 15-20 minutes de route en sortant de la route principale pour s’y rendre. Nous ne sortions pas le soir pour cette raison. Super tranquille. Vue magnifique! Il y a une petite rivière sur le chemin pour s’y rendre où il a été vraiment plaisant de s’y baigner! Il y a souvent eu des coupures d’électricité qui durait entre 10 minutes et 2 h ce qui semble être la norme dans le secteur. Nous n’avions pas de lampe de poche disponible dans la maison et l’hôte nous en a fait parvenir le lendemain!

La privacidad es la estrella de este lugar, increíblemente privado, si tengo que decir una área de mejora, les recomiendo cambiar los colchones de la camas, pero lo demás muy bien

Me encantó, silencioso, tranquilo y rodeado de naturaleza, una vista espectacular y la casa súper amplia, la piscina limpia y grande, la cocina muy bien equipada, en fin…quedamos muy satisfechos con la estancia

Excelente atención, responden de inmediato cualquier situación. Sumamente agradecidos, ya que nuestro carro falló, y nos encontraron mecánico y taxi. Siempre dispuestos a colaborar. La Casa muy linda, limpia y una vista preciosa. Nunca había visto tantos tipos de aves, con solo estar en la piscina.

Our accommodation well exceeded our expectations. The location is stunning. It was peaceful, we spent hours just listening to the ocean, birds..and watching all there was to see. The communication was top notch. We were greeted with a beautiful welcome basket that was such a thoughtful touch. Staying here was a dream. We can't thank you enough ❤️☀️

La villa correspond bien aux photos MAIS sur 3 nuits passées sur place nous avons eu une coupure d'eau de 24h (pour laquelle on nous a dit de nous débrouiller avec la piscine... finalement livraison d'eau en bouteille ce qui ne réglait pas le pb wc/douche), puis une coupure d'électricité de 12 heures (plus de clim notamment...). Ces désagréments sont à priori liés à 2 orages mais semblent être un pb récurrent car il y a des lampes de poches sur les tables de nuit.
