Luxury Villa | 5-Min Walk to Beach & Downtown

Six older adults spent two weeks at Villa Clara and loved every minute. The house is extremely convenient to everything in town. Yes--the driveway to the villa is extremely steep. Being in a third-world country, it was not surprising for electricity outages. What we did not expect was losing water. We managed although inconvenient at times. Filling some water bottles/jugs to use during extended outages should be noted. The manager, Leoni, was ALWAYS responsive and helped in any way she could. She responded positively to every personal request. The beds were comfortable. We had everything we needed to cook. Grocery stores were close by and fully stocked with everything we needed. The outdoor space was perfect for dining. We loved bird watching. Our biggest joy was watching the monkeys at dawn and dusk. No bugs! The pool was refreshing even though it was HOT. Air conditioning was perfect. Note that the water pressure in the showers was weak. We would LOVE to return. Highly recommend!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Villa! Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön eingerichtet, der Pool war sauber und wurde regelmäßig gepflegt – perfekt zum Entspannen. Die Lage ist ideal: ruhig, aber trotzdem nah am Zentrum und am Strand. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Leonie – sie war super nett und jederzeit erreichbar für Fragen oder Anliegen :) Ein ganz toller Service! Wir kommen gerne wieder!😊🙏🏻

amazing time at Barbara's, the place was exactly as on the photos and descriptions. location was even better than expected, everything walking distance (shops, groceries, beach). Leonie had put a little guide (booklet) which was very useful to get around quickly, go to the best restaurants, good activities idea around and more. Every request or questions were answered very swiftly and this was very helpful! I would definitely go back without hesitation.

The house was as described and matched the pictures. The outdoor patio and pool area was fantastic, the outdoor covered area was great when the late afternoon showers arrived. Our host Leonie was great, she was super quick to answer when we had questions, the entire staff was very professional and friendly. The house was an easy 10 min walk to the beach, and about a 5 min walk to the grocery store. I would recommend this house any time! Two important points, the hill to the house is not for everyone, if you have reduced mobility this location isn't for you (unless you always take your car), also, being so close to the beach, the house is at the top of the hill on the main road, it can be a bit noisy with all the little motorcycles ( a concession worth making for the great location). Barb’s place was absolutely amazing! It was even better than the pictures. The location on the top of a little hill just on the edge of town was perfect for us. We’d spend the days exploring the close beaches or doing some of the many activities in the Samara area and once we got home we could park the car and not have to drive again. So many good restaurants within a 10 minute walk. The kitchen was very well equipped and we really appreciated the boogie boards and cooler. Leonie was so responsive and helpful with beach, restaurant and shopping suggestions. Any questions that arose were answered immediately. What a wonderful house and town!

Could not have picked a better place to stay while in Sámara. The Airbnb was exactly as pictured - clean, comfortable, spacious, great layout and the outdoor living area was where we spent a lot of our time while we were there. The views were also beautiful and it’s easily walkable (within 5-7 mins) to stores, restaurants and beaches. The only downside is that the area had power surges and we had one on our last night which caused the AC to go out all night - it was hot! Make sure you get a clear walkthrough of where the main breaker is and how to turn it back on so this doesn’t happen to you. I won’t take a star off for this because truly, this place was paradise and I can’t wait to go back!!

Our stay here far exceeded our expectations! Amazing location, just a few minutes walk to the beach and main streets, but so private, peaceful, and safe! House is laid out so beautifully and has incredible views. Kitchen and all decor is very modern and was spotless. Landscaping is gorgeous and outdoor dining, pool, and seating area is phenomenal - couldn’t have enjoyed that area more! Pool was fantastic and cleaned early each morning. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This place is an ideal location in samara. There is a steep driveway to the house. So not good if you are not able bodied. There are some lights on driveway that where not working at the time. So a flashlight always handy. There is a fairly busy street directly below house. But in the evenings very quiet. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond. Overall a great place to stay.
