Sail through the San Blas Islands on a luxurious 45-ft sailing yacht with stunning views, snorkeling, fishing, and authentic Kuna encounters in a memorable, all-inclusive escape.
The Space
Experience a luxurious yacht journey with me and my small family through the San Blas Islands. The yacht accommodates up to six guests across three beds.
During the trip, you can enjoy:
- Three Italian-cooked meals daily
- Snorkeling adventures
- Fishing excursions
- Encounters with Kuna natives
- Wildlife observation
- Sailing lessons
My yacht is a 2006 Salona cutter sailing yacht, measuring 45 feet (14 meters). I take great pride in my boat and look forward to sharing it with you. As an Italian sailor with 25 years of experience and over 100,000 nautical miles sailed worldwide, I have spent the past three years exploring San Blas. I speak fluent Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and some English. I maintain the vessel meticulously to ensure every guest has an unforgettable experience.
Guest Access
Guests have full access to all areas of the yacht. Before departure, I will provide a detailed briefing covering the boat’s features and safety procedures.
During Your Stay
Traveling by yacht offers a unique way to explore the islands. As your captain, I will be on board throughout the trip, steering and navigating. I am always accompanied by an assistant, who may be a family member or a trusted friend.
Additional Information
Getting to the Yacht
I can help arrange transportation from Panama City, but guests are responsible for the following expenses:
- Driver from Panama City to Carti, Niga Katule, or Sugdup Harbor: $50 per person ($25 each way)
- Kuna Lands Entrance Tax (a fee charged by the indigenous people to enter their lands): $25 per person
- Taxi boat from harbor to yacht or Carti Island: $5 per person
- Kuna Private Island Fees: $3–$5 per island per person (since all islands are privately owned by the Kuna, some may charge a fee; it’s advisable to carry cash to cover these fees or purchase refreshments as a gesture of appreciation)
Please note that all these payments must be made in cash, as there are no ATMs available in San Blas. Plan accordingly.

San Blas was as expected and as you can see in all the photos: white sand and crystal clear water. Loved the snorkeling and boat experience was something new for us!

The stay with Fabio and family was great and fun. Beautiful boat, gorgeous food, great places to see around San blas, perfect snorkeling spotts, activities from SUP over cayak to fishing and just a very great time.

This was a fabulous time in the San Blas islands on the Rendezvous. Fabio and family are wonderful hosts. The food was amazing. Fabio gave us several options regarding activities while onboard and in San Blas. The key is to communicate what you want to do. He knows the perfect areas for swimming, relaxing, and visiting the Kuna people. A wonderful life experience.

What can I say! ... I had heard that the islands were beautiful but the experience provided by Fabio and Belen was truly the best part of our trip! From the moment you step onto the boat until the moment you leave we all felt like one big family cruising perfect seas between jaw dropping deserted islands, swimming to and from and eating and drinking much better than any five star resorts... I think the island emoji was originally created for the San Blas 🏝 I urge anyone who’s reading these reviews and wondering if they should go to just click that button... the whole experience was epic! If you are really lucky and get the same crew as us, be prepared for the most attentive care from a beautiful soul in Belen and the best pasta lunches and laughs from our vero gentiluomo, Captain Fabio! Fingers crossed we’ll one day return!

Overall we really enjoyed our time in San Blas and really appreciate the effort put in by Fabio, Teressa and Telma to host us on board. Highlights were beautiful water, gorgeous beaches, peaceful evenings on the water, good hospitality, our kids loved playing with Thelma, and Teressa's cooking was great (bonus points for fresh fish, coconut rice and chocolate cake!). Though we did move from island to island (two most days) we were disappointed not to do any sailing, something that was advertised in the description and that we were really looking forward to experiencing and learning more about. We're a family of 4 with kids ages 2 and 7 and being chartered by a family with a four year old daughter was a good fit for us - the kids really enjoyed their time together. While it hardly bears repeating, families considering this trip should keep in mind that accommodations on a boat are nothing like staying in a hotel. Lots of personal space swimming and visiting islands by day, but close quarters on board.

My friend and I had an amazing time with Captain Mauro (Fabio's business partner) and his lovely first mate Jessica. Despite the worst weather in 13 years in the Blas, Mauro went above and beyond to make our stay special. His conversation is as good as his cooking, and he's a very good cook! Couldn't recommend this more - especially when the weather is fine :)

We stayed 3 nights with our friends. We absolutely loved it. We went to different islands each day and spent hours snorkeling, paddleboarding, and kayaking. We could have also fished. Fabio and Theresa are extremely hospitable and we loved being around their 4 year old daughter. Theresa is an unbelievable cook and made amazing italian food using fresh seafood. We are trying to figure out a time to go back and stay for 5 nights. It was one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever had. Things to note: The bedrooms do get a bit hot at night, but sleeping outside is an option! When you visit the islands, the Kunas request $2/person so bring small change. The roundtrip car trip is about $145 so bring more cash than you think is needed.

Captain Fabio, Teresa (and cute little Thelma) were the most gracious, generous and attentive hosts! We had an unforgettable time aboard the Rendezvous visiting the San Blas islands. It’s not too easy to get there, but it is well worth the effort (as most hard things in life are). I would recommend not bringing much - I wish I’d left all but a few T-shirts, shorts, a pair of flip flops and TONS of sunscreen behind. Life on a boat can be challenging if you don’t have a captain as wonderful as Fabio. He is very knowledgeable about the area and he is very tuned into his guests’ needs. If you are looking for a cruising vacation aboard a clean, comfortable vessel, I’d highly recommend Captain Fabio! Plus Teresa’s cooking is out of this world! We loved the Italian/Panamanian flavors!
