The construction incorporates materials such as steel rebars and framing remnants. The wood cladding and drop ceilings are crafted from shou sugi ban fire-treated pine, an environmentally conscious technique developed by the Japanese in the 17th century. Custom-made colonial tiles enhance the large bathroom, which features bold concrete vanities and vintage accessories.
