Rates are based on an 8-person occupancy. For each additional guest, there is a $50/night fee (maximum 11 people).

Mi Casa Soñada is a tranquil and comfortable beachfront home located directly in front of the Panga Drops surf break. It features a private swimming pool and is designed with 4 generously sized bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. The house includes all the comforts of home, such as air conditioning in the bedrooms, Wi-Fi, hammocks, a BBQ grill, and more.

The first floor contains a spacious living room and kitchen area with breathtaking views of the ocean and surf. Both the kitchen and living room open to an expansive patio area with a swimming pool, comfortable patio furniture, hammocks, a BBQ grill, and a pool bath. The living room opens to a terrace, providing a front-row view of the surf.

The fully equipped kitchen and ample dining table make meal preparation and enjoyment easy. The poolside BBQ grill and outdoor furniture, including a picnic table, enhance the casual dining experience.

Also located on the first floor are two guest bedrooms:

• One with a queen bed, en-suite bathroom, and sliding doors leading to the beachfront patio.
• The other with two twin beds and a shared bathroom.

The second floor contains:

• The primary bedroom equipped with a king-size bed and a twin-size bed.
• A guest bedroom with two twin beds (which can be joined as a king upon request) and an en-suite bathroom.

These two second-floor bedrooms share a spacious balcony with expansive ocean and surf views.

Flexibility is added to this rental property with the addition of the studio casita, which is on-site but separate from the main house. The casita features a modest living/dining area, an efficiency kitchen, a bathroom, a queen bed, and a futon.

The entire property offers privacy and comfort. Cleaning service is included three days per week, and an optional meal plan service providing three delicious and freshly prepared meals daily is available. Each property comes equipped with a safe for your valuables. This home includes a backup generator in case of power outages, which powers fans, lights, and most outlets; however, it does not power the air conditioning units. Please note that the housekeeping staff will do any laundry you may have, as they are the only ones with access to the washer and dryer in the house. This service is included with your stay.

Enjoy the view while sipping a drink and contemplating the waves from the hammocks. Mi Casa Soñada is a full-service rental, complete with everything you need to make your vacation enjoyable.

Activities

This home is located within the Hacienda Iguana development, known for its world-class surf breaks. There are four surf breaks within walking distance:

• Playa Colorado
• Panga Drops
• Los Perros
• Playa Amarillo (accessible at low tide)

The development also features a beautiful 9-hole golf course that is well-designed, beautifully maintained, and very affordable for guests.

We can arrange airport transfers or a variety of other tours, activities, and excursions for you before or during your stay, including:

Food Supplies

The best place to get groceries is La Colonia in Rivas, located 100 meters south of the turn-off for Tola on the right (west) side of the street. While in Rivas, it is also advisable to fill up on fuel, as these are the closest gas stations to your location. We highly recommend stocking up on all or as many groceries as you will need for your entire stay. If you prefer not to deal with planning, shopping, and preparing meals, ask us about booking the meal plan, our full-service catering option.

Eating Out

There are several great food options within the Hacienda Iguana development. The most visited and only beachfront option is Pili's Kitchen, located at the Beach Club in front of the Colorado Break. It offers a variety of fresh foods, juices, smoothies, and a full bar.

In La Joya, next to the Eco Casitas, is The Salty Koala, serving amazing Asian cuisine and craft cocktails. In the commercial zone of the development (where NSR is located), you will find additional culinary options:

• Casa Ananas (authentic Italian cuisine and pizza)
• Downtown Iguana (seafood and authentic Nicaraguan cuisine)
• Scoops and Spokes (homemade ice cream, coffee, baked goods, paninis, and fresh juices)
• Iguana Brewery (sports bar fare and local craft beer)

Other notable restaurants in the general area (but outside the Hacienda Iguana development) include:

Shopping

We have a well-stocked store (NSR Surf Shop) located inside the Hacienda Iguana development, offering souvenirs, surf accessories, clothing, beach towels, flip flops, sunscreen, sunglasses, swimsuits, wetsuit vests and tops, rash guards, and more. We also rent scooters, dirt bikes, surfboards, boogie boards, and stand-up paddleboards from this location.

Other businesses in the Hacienda Iguana community include Pure Spa, two small convenience stores with a variety of grocery items, and an ATM located on the property. Activities in the development include yoga, horseback riding, and in-home massage.

The Riviera commercial plaza is located within half a mile of the Hacienda Iguana entrance, featuring:

• BAC bank with an ATM
• A small grocery store (with the basics)
• Bagels and Bakes, a café with daily home-baked goods and coffee

Getting Around

This property is located a 2 to 2.5-hour drive from the Augusto C. Sandino International Airport in Managua and approximately 4 hours from the Liberia airport in Costa Rica. Most major vehicle rental agencies have locations at the Managua airport, and we recommend making a reservation in advance.

If renting a vehicle, a 4WD is only necessary if planning to travel to some of the beaches further south (in the San Juan del Sur area). If you prefer not to rent a vehicle, we can arrange airport transportation and daily sightseeing/surf trips. Motorcycle and scooter rentals are available, and we can also arrange vehicle and boat transport to other surf breaks in the area. Alamo and National also offer vehicle rentals, with an office next to Hacienda Iguana.
