Mi Casa Soñada is a tranquil and comfortable beachfront home located directly in front of the Panga Drops surf break. It features:

The first floor includes a spacious living room and kitchen area with breathtaking views of the ocean and surf. The kitchen and living room open to an expansive patio area that features:

The living room also opens to a terrace, providing a front-row view of the surf. The fully equipped kitchen and ample dining table make meal preparation and sharing easy. The poolside BBQ grill and outdoor furniture, including a picnic table, enhance the casual dining experience.

On the first floor, there are two guest bedrooms:

1. One with a queen bed, en-suite bathroom, and sliding doors leading to the beachfront patio.
2. The other with two twin beds and a shared bathroom.

The second floor contains:

• The primary bedroom with a king-size bed and a twin-size bed.
• A second guest bedroom with two twin beds (which can be joined as a king upon request) and an en-suite bathroom.

These two second-floor bedrooms share a spacious balcony with expansive ocean and surf views. The entire house offers privacy and comfort.

Cleaning service three days per week is included, and an optional meal plan service providing three delicious, freshly prepared meals daily is available. Each property comes equipped with a safe for your valuables. This home also includes a backup generator for power outages, which powers fans, lights, and most outlets (note that it does not power the air conditioning units). Housekeeping staff will handle laundry, as they are the only ones with access to the washer and dryer in the house.

Enjoy the view while sipping a drink and contemplating the waves from the hammocks. Mi Casa Soñada is a full-service rental, complete with everything you need to make your vacation enjoyable.

Note: This listing is for renting the house only, without the guest studio. If you choose not to rent the guest cottage, it will be available for another group to rent, who will have access to the beach through the pathway on the side of the house.

This home is located within the Hacienda Iguana development, known for its world-class surf breaks. There are four surf breaks within walking distance:

• Playa Amarillo (to the south of Playa Colorado, walkable at low tide)

Food Supplies

The best place to get groceries is La Colonia in Rivas, located 100 meters south of the turnoff for Tola on the right (west) side of the street. While in Rivas, it is also advisable to top off your fuel, as these are the closest gas stations to your location. We highly recommend stocking up on groceries for your entire stay. Alternatively, if you prefer not to deal with planning, shopping, and preparing meals, inquire about booking the meal plan, our full-service catering option.

Eating Out

There are several excellent dining options within the Hacienda Iguana development. The most visited and only beachfront option is Pili's Kitchen, located at the Beach Club in front of the Colorado Break, offering a variety of fresh foods, juices, smoothies, and a full bar. Other notable dining options include:

• The Salty Koala in La Joya, serving Asian cuisine and craft cocktails
• Casa Ananas, offering authentic Italian cuisine and pizza
• Downtown Iguana, featuring seafood and authentic Nicaraguan cuisine
• Scoops and Spokes, known for homemade ice cream, coffee, baked goods, paninis, and fresh juices
• Iguana Brewery, offering sports bar fare and local craft beer

Other restaurants in the general area worth checking out include:

The NSR Surf Shop, located inside the Hacienda Iguana development, offers a variety of items, including:

We also rent scooters, dirt bikes, surfboards, boogie boards, and stand-up paddleboards from this location. Additional activities in the development include yoga, horseback riding, and in-home massage.

The Riviera commercial plaza is located within half a mile of the Hacienda Iguana entrance, featuring:

• BAC bank with an ATM
• A small grocery store (with the basics)
• Bagels and Bakes, a café with daily home-baked goods and coffee

Getting Around

This property is located a 2 to 2.5-hour drive from the Augusto C. Sandino International Airport in Managua and approximately 4 hours from the Liberia airport in Costa Rica. Most major vehicle rental agencies have locations at the Managua airport, and we recommend making a reservation in advance.

If renting a vehicle, a 4-wheel drive is only necessary if you plan to travel to some of the beaches further south in the San Juan del Sur area. If you prefer not to rent a vehicle, we can arrange airport transportation and daily sightseeing or surf trips. Motorcycle and scooter rentals are also available, and we can arrange vehicle and boat transport to other surf breaks in the area. Alamo and National also offer vehicle rentals with an office next to Hacienda Iguana.
