Villa Balam Ek is a stunning oceanfront retreat located in the heart of Akumal, Riviera Maya. This spacious villa features four bedrooms and comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests (8 adults and 2 children), making it ideal for family vacations, group getaways, or romantic escapes.

Every room offers breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea, allowing you to enjoy ocean breezes and sunrises from the comfort of your accommodations.

Designed by renowned architect Moreno and redesigned by architect Javier Muñoz, the villa boasts a thoughtful layout that includes a separate guesthouse (Casita). The Casita is perfect for couples or small families and features a king bedroom, kitchen, dining area, private bathroom, and a romantic outdoor soaking tub beneath the stars.

Each bedroom has its own private bathroom and comfortable bedding arrangements:

• Master Bedroom: King bed plus single bed
• Guest Bedroom 1: King bed
• Guest Bedroom 2: Two double beds plus single bed
• Casita: King bed

The fully equipped kitchen includes a microwave, blender, oven, toaster, refrigerator, utensils, and a complete coffee station with a grinder, tea, and sweeteners to start your mornings right.

The oceanfront terrace offers:

Villa Balam Ek is situated in one of Akumal’s most tranquil areas, yet remains conveniently close to local attractions such as cenotes, archaeological sites, lagoons, parks, and Yalku Lagoon. The sandy swimming beach is just a 10-minute walk away.

The property provides private parking for two vehicles and is within walking distance of restaurants and stores.

Other Things to Note

Villa Balam Ek is designed as a peaceful oceanfront home focused on relaxation and nature appreciation. Guests are kindly asked to respect the tranquil atmosphere and neighbors by keeping noise levels low, especially at night.

Housekeeping is provided every other day except Sundays and holidays, with regular changes of sheets and towels. Drinking water and bathroom essentials such as soap, toilet paper, and shampoo are supplied.

During turtle nesting season (May to October), beach lights must remain off after dark to protect the turtles. Guests may have the rare opportunity to witness nesting or hatching events.

This is a non-smoking property, and guests are requested not to host events or parties.
