Note: Elec...
Other things to note Water and electricity consumption is not included and will be charged on check out directly by the resort management based on metering. Note: Electricity is very expensive in Nicaragua so due to the fact that the Villas de Palermo casas have air conditioning, as well as the electrical demand for hot water and electric stoves, the cost of electricity for each villa can be up to $10 per day or more. When we are there we use ceiling fans and use the air conditioning moderately (we schedule 3 hours at night) so our average daily cost of electricity is $4 per day. We therefore ask our guests to use the air conditioning wisely and turn everything off when they leave the villa. Electricity will be charged upon departure based on meter readings after your stay. Since the Villa is located in a mountain, you may find insects including scorpions. Even though before the entrance of our guests we check there is no animals, it is important to be aware.
