The Space

Casa Colina is a short 5-minute walk to shops, restaurants, bars, and the beach. The casa offers some of the best views in town and features an amazing infinity pool. It is ideal for surfers, couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families with children, and large groups. The house has a solar backup system, ensuring you will never be without power.

The house features an open-air living environment with a floor plan that flows onto the front veranda through four gorgeous custom-built wooden glass doors. These doors do not obstruct the views of the bay, the quaint town of San Juan del Sur, and its surrounding jungle. Just below the casa, you will find an outdoor tropical dining area, a magical place for dinner, drinks, and relaxation. You can expect to hear a wide variety of birds and the occasional howler monkey.

Guest Access

Guests will have access to all of the amenities of the house, including:

• The infinity pool
• A private stone deck with an outdoor dining area

Other Things to Note

Our home is quite private. While the infinity pool is considered shared, it is only shared with the adjacent house, and it is rare to find yourself sharing it with others. Due to the terracing, the other house is below ours, so anyone staying there cannot see into our spaces and vice versa. The pool is located behind the other house but adjacent to ours. Guests in the other house cannot see the pool, but there is a great view of the pool from our master bedroom and front veranda.

Please be aware that there are some inclined pathways, so anyone with walking difficulties should take caution.

Thirty kilowatt-hours of energy are included daily, which is sufficient for using air conditioning at night and fans during the day. There is an additional fee for any usage above the included amount.

All staff (kept to an absolute minimum) wear masks and gloves and are well-educated in COVID-19 prevention. The house is completely sanitized after each stay, and the utmost care is taken to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
