Our townhouse is one of ten in a secure complex with dedicated parking spaces directly in front of the entrance.

Location

A 10-minute walk or 2-minute drive takes you to Iguana's beach club overlooking Colorado, a world-class surfing wave. At the beach club, you will find:

• Hammocks
• A swimming pool
• A restaurant and bar
• Excellent surfing conditions when the swell is on

A vehicle is recommended but not essential, as guests can easily rent golf carts, scooters, or bicycles within Hacienda Iguana. Everything is walkable. Hacienda Iguana is safe and well-managed, with security at all entrances and exits.

Welcome to Hacienda Iguana, a beach and surf community renowned for its world-class surf breaks, amazing restaurants, and pristine 3 kilometers of white sand beach.

The Golf Townhouse complex comprises only 10 townhouses that share the pool, gardens, and car park. The complex provides 24-hour security. Guests receive exclusive access to the townhouse, two non-assigned car parks, and the gorgeous communal pool.

Guests can also enjoy access to the Iguana Beach Club overlooking the acclaimed Playa Colorado surf break, which features:

• A community swimming pool
• Showers and toilets
• A beach volleyball court
• Hammocks and beach loungers
• A beachfront bar and restaurant

Surfers can enjoy three enticing breaks located within the grounds of Iguana:

• Playa Colorado (south end of the beach)
• Panga Drops
• Los Perros (north end of the beach)

Additionally, gorgeous Playa Amarillo can be accessed at low tide and is just south of Playa Colorado.

Golf lovers will appreciate the superb 9-hole golf course, carefully designed and meticulously maintained for your enjoyment. As a guest, you'll find affordable green fees, making it an ideal complement to your beachside retreat. For those wanting to hone their golf skills, there is a small golf range and a golf simulator located within Iguana. Lessons with a professional can also be arranged with sufficient notice.

Pickleball is a game for everyone, and Iguana now has two high-end pickleball courts and a vibrant community. It is easy to learn but highly addictive!

The entire Hacienda Iguana resort is highly secure and pedestrian-friendly, making it easy to explore the surrounding neighborhood and amenities on foot. Bikes, golf carts, and scooters can be rented within the community.

Other Things to Note

Experience the unique blend of luxury and relaxation at Hacienda Iguana, a premier beachside and gated community. There are over 10 places to eat and drink within the community, including mid and high-end restaurants, cafes, and bars.

Additionally, there are two grocery stores, and the local fresh-produce truck visits Iguana three times a week, ensuring you have everything you need.

To ensure your safety and enjoyment, please note that all guests must provide a copy of their identification to the security team for access clearance. This measure is in place to protect the community's residents and visitors while allowing you to indulge in the serene surroundings.

The beaches within Hacienda Iguana can receive large swells and are prone to rips and currents. Parents are encouraged to supervise children while swimming. Hacienda Iguana has its own surf lifesaving program certified by ISLA, but certified lifeguards are only on duty during weekends and public holidays.

The closest city to Iguana is Rivas, which is a 40-minute drive. It takes 2 hours to drive from the Managua International Airport to Iguana. If coming from Costa Rica, Iguana is a little over a 1-hour drive from the Costa Rican border.
