Welcome to Entroterra, your elegant retreat in Hacienda Pinilla. Our newly unveiled residences accommodate up to 8 guests with:

• 3 bedrooms
• 3.5 bathrooms
  • Master suite with a king bed
  • Two additional bedrooms, each with two queen beds

All bedrooms feature their own ensuite bathroom. Relax in the spacious living area that flows seamlessly to the terrace, creating a refined indoor-outdoor experience. Each residence includes a private saltwater pool, adding a touch of exclusivity to your stay. The covered deck is perfect for grilling and unwinding in a peaceful setting surrounded by nature. Start your morning with coffee while watching macaws and listening to howler monkeys, or wind down with a refreshing drink, embracing the beauty of Costa Rica.

Our property is thoughtfully designed to create the perfect setting for relaxed family vacations. We hope the care and attention to detail we've put into the space provide an ideal environment for families to unwind and enjoy a memorable beach getaway in Costa Rica.

No Smoking: Smoking of any kind is prohibited on the property. Violations will incur penalties.

No Parties: This is not a party house.

As a guest of Entroterra, we offer free access to the Beach Club. Note that the Beach Club closes annually in October. You can also access numerous restaurants at the nearby JW Marriott Hotel and purchase a day pass to use their pool and amenities.

Golf Course

Designed by Mike Young, this par-72 course spans up to 7,200 yards and seamlessly integrates with Hacienda Pinilla’s natural landscape. It winds through tropical forests and along the Pacific shoreline, offering a stunning blue-water backdrop.

Seasonal Rates:

1. Twilight rates apply after 1 PM.
2. Super Twilight rates apply after 3 PM.

Tennis Courts

Hacienda Pinilla features three hard tennis courts with onsite instructors, offering a variety of tennis and pickleball clinics, lessons, and court rentals.

Clinics:

• Monday, 8:30–9:30 AM: Fit-Tennis (All Levels) – $15
• Tuesday, 5:00–6:30 PM: Advanced Clinic – $20
• Thursday, 4:00–5:30 PM: Intermediate Clinic – $20
• Saturday, 8:30–10:30 AM: Pickleball Clinic – $10

Lessons:

• $60/hour (1 person)
• $70/hour (2 people)
• $200 for 4 lessons (package)
• $450 for 10 lessons (package)

Court Rentals:

• $10–$15 per hour
• $25/hour (with lights)
• $5/racquet or paddle rental
• $5/person for pickleball sessions

Horse Stables

Explore 16 kilometers of scenic trails that meander through dry forests and lead to the pristine sands of Playa Langosta. Guided horseback tours can be customized, ranging from 30 minutes to 2 hours. Riders will journey through lush forests, secluded beaches, and serene river mouths, all within Hacienda Pinilla.

Mountain Bike Trails

The ranch offers 30 kilometers of professional trails and 15 kilometers of amateur trails, perfect for biking, hiking, or exploring the expansive 4,500-acre property.

Surfing

Hacienda Pinilla is an exceptional base for a Costa Rican surf trip. With six breaks at Playa Avellanas and private access to Playa Langosta’s beach breaks, you won’t need to leave the ranch. For those seeking more adventure, the renowned Playa Negra reef breaks are just 10 minutes south, while Tamarindo’s river mouth and beach breaks lie 10 minutes to the north.

Other Things to Note

This private residence is situated within the gated community of Hacienda Pinilla in Costa Rica, specifically in the smaller, exclusive neighborhood of Entroterra. A rental car is highly recommended, as neighborhood amenities and local restaurants are not within easy walking distance.

Given the size of Hacienda Pinilla, we recommend stopping for groceries before you arrive—especially after a long travel day when you may not feel like heading out again. If you’re expecting guests during your stay, please notify your host in advance so they can be added to the entry list at the main gate.

Important: Entroterra is located in a private, gated community with full-time residents and families. There is a strict no-noise policy from 11 PM to 6 AM. This home is ideal for respectful groups and families. Parties, events, or excessive noise are not allowed. Guests who violate these rules will be asked to leave without a refund.
