Each bedroom has its own private bathroom. Our space is a family-oriented house, designed for comfort, relaxation, and creating beautiful memories. To keep it that way, we don’t allow parties or large gatherings, as we want to ensure a peaceful environment for everyone. The house is equipped for short term or long term rentals. Each additional guest (from the 6th onward) costs $25 per person per night. - We recommend arriving in an SUV or 4x4. Most of the road to the house is paved, but the last 2 km can get bumpy, especially during the rainy season. - Electricity: It is not all included in the rental price. For short term rentals we include 30 kw/h per day. If you use more than that you will be charged USD 0.50cents per kw/h. For long term rentals we do not include electricity at all and must be paid separately. The average use of electricity is 15-35 kw per day. Being conscious about electricity is important as electricity in Nicaragua and specially Ometepe is really expensive, so we ask you to turn off the air conditioning and appliances when not in use. All guests will be charged for their metered usage and paid directly (cash only) upon checkout. As we are in a rural area, power outages occur from time to time, especially during the rainy season. We offer the use of an emergency generator that gives power to the rooms, ceiling fans, refrigerator but does not turn on the AC units. The generator has an additional cost of USD$30 for 4 hours. If the power goes out, please limit the using of candles or other flammable devices, the house has a lot of exposed wood in the walls and ceilings. -Dogs: We have three dogs in the property. While they are friendly with guests, we understand that not everybody will want to interact with them. We will keep them contained during your stay. Additional Amenities offered: -Cleaning services are available for an additional charge and asked 1 day in advance. The cost is USD $20 -We offer a cook to help with the meals asked 1 day in advance, for an additional charge of USD $20 per day.
