The Space
Paseo Miraflores 42 is an elegant ocean-view vacation rental located within the Las Catalinas Development. This spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests with upgraded mattresses and linens.
The open-concept living area combines the kitchen, dining, and sitting rooms, creating a welcoming space ideal for couples or small families to spend quality time together. The master suite features a king bed, a full bathroom with a walk-in shower and double vanity, and offers beautiful mountain and ocean views. The guest bedroom includes a queen bed and is served by a nearby bathroom in the hallway.
The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and upgraded wood cabinetry. The living room and private balcony provide stunning ocean views, perfect for relaxing while enjoying the fresh sea breeze and breathtaking sunsets.
Additional amenities include a smart TV for guests to access their own streaming services (cable is not provided), folding beach chairs, a beach cooler, beach towels, and basic kitchen essentials such as salt, pepper, cooking oil, soaps, and shampoo. A travel crib is available upon request through the concierge team, subject to availability and an additional charge.
Location
This condo is conveniently situated near the parking lot, allowing easy access to your vehicle without the need for valet parking. Please note that parking on the main road is prohibited.
The property is adjacent to the main road and may experience some noise, machinery movement, and dust due to ongoing area improvements aimed at enhancing future guest experiences. Your understanding is appreciated.

Las Catalinas Beach Club Passes
Daily passes are available with limited access and subject to availability:
- Adult Beach Club Pass: $30 USD + 13% VAT, with $15 redeemable in consumables
- Child Beach Club Pass (ages 8 to 12): $15 USD + 13% VAT, with $10 redeemable in consumables
- Children under 8 have free entry with limited access
- Swim & Gym Pass: $20 USD + 13% VAT, valid from 7 am to 10 am only (hours may vary)

Great place! Beautiful apartment on entire top floor. No noise from neighbors. Steps to the Las Catalinas shops and a few more to the beach. Well equipped apartment (e.g. beach chairs, kitchen, high end appliances, etc). Beyond check-in, BZE response time and follow through was hit or miss. Overall stay was great!

This was our 3rd stay in Las Catalinas via Blue Zone Experience, and it’s now our preferred Costa Rica destination — that says a lot! The apartment was beautiful, clean, and well-equipped. Blue Zone’s service was excellent — professional, friendly, and responsive. Las Catalinas offers something for everyone: hiking, biking, or just relaxing by the beach with conveniences rarely found elsewhere in Costa Rica. A couple of notes: the beach shower was missing, and guests were rudely told by security to wash sand off in a faraway garden faucet with grey water. Also, this time the general Las Catalinas staff (not Blue Zone) felt less welcoming — a shift from the usual Costa Rican warmth. Lastly, we don’t recommend the Safari Tour at Palo Verde — a long drive for a 20-min boat ride with minimal wildlife. Still, Blue Zone made the stay smooth and enjoyable. Thank you again!

This place was great, clean and as described. Perfect for our short trip to Costa Rica. There are stairs to get there but it was fine with us!

Me encantó el apartamento!! estába impecable, super espacioso, moderno, la decoración super linda y elegante. La terraza es amplia y tiene una vista linda!!. La cama super cómoda y la cocina equipada con todo lo necesario. El apartamento queda atrás de los restaurantes asi que no tienes que caminar nada para llegar y queda a un paso de la playa. Lo recontra recomiendo no sólo porque es lindoooo, sino porque está super bien ubicado. 100pts!!

We had such an incredible experience with Alejandro! He was so kind, knowledgeable, and easy to get along with from the moment we met him. He went out of his way to make accommodations for us, making sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. Along the way, he showed us some amazing sights — including bats, natural clay formations, and of course, a breathtaking waterfall where we were able to swim and enjoy the beauty of nature. It truly felt like a personalized adventure. Thank you, Alejandro, for an unforgettable day!

Beautiful location with great views. The beds were extremely comfortable, it felt like sleeping on a cloud. The apartment has everything you need to cook and they even offer beach chairs and towels, we had a great time. One thing to notice is that there’s no cellphone signal and WiFi is flaky, we didn’t have internet access for most of our stay, so if you’re planning to do remote work from here, keep that in mind. Also the restaurants in the area are very nice and the food is great but there are no affordable options, very expensive. There’s no night life either, it’s a place for quiet time and rest. There’s work being done in the area in the mornings so you can hear the trucks and the construction work since early morning, this was mentioned by the host so we were aware, but keep that in mind as well. Nights are super quiet, so it’s only during day time.
